You're like the rain to my sunshine
Like a poison ivy vine
You're like a demon in the moonlight
But why still do you look so divine
It's like I'm blinded, could this be love ?
It's like the shadows' taken over...
Why am I so in love with this illusion of you
When I know you and I can never be true
Am I hallucinating flowers ?
Or it's the hold on me, your powers ?
Why do I stop and stare and get lost in your gaze
As I feel highs and lows stuck in this stupid maze
Why can't I push you away now ?
It's like I'm bonded to you somehow
This cage is glittering silver gold
But the true horrors' yet to unfold
So I am breaking free,
Of all the lust and temptations you provide
I am feeling free, as this pseudo feeling subsides
What had you done to me ?
Do you do this to everybody ?
