AUTHOR'S POV
A year later-
So much changed in this one year. Their bond was now much stronger than ever as their daughter made her way into their lives three months ago. She was the right combination of Sahil and Haniya......Saniya.
It was like their love had found a new meaning. Parenthood had added a new dimension to their relationship, deepening their bond. New promises were made, and new challenges made their way into their lives along with a new joy.
Today was another special day, Saniya was officially turning three months old and, Abeer and Janvi were getting married today.
Sahil watched Saniya babbling happily in her crib on this special morning, he couldn't help but marvel at how much she had grown in just three months.
He leaned over, planting a gentle kiss on her forehead.
"Happy three months, my little sunshine," he whispered, his voice filled with love.
Haniya entered the nursery, a smile lighting up her face as she saw Sahil and Saniya together.
"Can you believe she's already three months old?" she said softly, brushing a hand through Saniya's soft hair.
Sahil chuckled.
"It feels like just yesterday we were bringing her home from the hospital," he replied, reaching out to stroke Saniya's cheek.
"She's growing up so fast," Sahil said.
Sahil gave Haniya a side hug kissing her forehead as they both smiled looking at their beautiful daughter in her crib.
"I think we should start getting ready for the wedding or we might get late", Haniya said looking at the clock.
"We already talked about this Sahil, be kind", She said with a serious face when Sahil rolled his eyes.
"Is it important to go? I mean we could just stay at him", He said, whining like a child.
"Yes, it is important to go. Plus, what will we do staying here when everybody else is at the wedding", Haniya said as she started to walk towards their room while Sahil followed.
"Well, leave that to me. I've plenty of ideas", He said as he suddenly pinned her to the wall. Haniya gasped watching him smirk.
"Have some shame, Mr. Mirza, you're the father of a daughter now", She said, struggling to hide her smile.
"Biwi hain aap meri, haq hai mera", He said leaning in slowly.
(You're my wife, I've my right on you)
"Bade besharam hain aap", She chuckled as she pushed him away.
(You're so shameless)
He caught her by the wrist just when she entered their room as he pulled her close.
"Jab se aapko dekha hai, sharam kya hum to sab kuch bhool gaye hai. Ab toh bas aap hi yaad rehti hai", She smiled brightly as his grip tightened around her waist.
