I hit the emergency button, jolting everyone from their slumber and summoning them to the meeting room with urgency evident in my voice.

"What's going on?" Viola asked, her tone tinged with sleepiness.

"Turns out the Teacher is planning to make a name for himself at the town's anniversary," I explained quickly, the weight of the revelation settling heavily on my shoulders. "A tip just came in."

Julian frowned, skepticism etched on his features. "Are you sure it wasn't just the Teacher trying to lure us there for publicity?"

"He's not that smart," I replied, my confidence unwavering. "If we've deduced correctly, he's most likely putting the finishing touches on his big unveiling as we speak."

Yvie interjected, concern evident in her voice. "Y/N, did you even sleep at all?"

I shook my head tiredly. "Nah, just finishing up some last-minute work," I admitted, the weariness in my voice betraying the exhaustion that threatened to consume me.

"Alright, everyone, get some rest," I instructed, my tone firm despite the weariness that weighed heavily on my shoulders. "We'll regroup in the morning. I'll send out police in unmarked cars to watch the kids' houses and ensure that no one but us knows about this. If the Teacher wants his name to be known, I'll make sure he gets anything but that."

With a nod of understanding, my team dispersed, each retreating to their own quarters to snatch whatever rest they could before the next day's challenges awaited us. Over the next week, we worked tirelessly to unravel the Teacher's motives, track his movements, and anticipate his every move.

"Yo, Y/N?" Julian's voice broke through the silence, drawing my attention away from my computer screen.

"Yeah?" I responded, looking up from my work.

"A new news article just came out. It says Plague might be planning something around the same time to catch your attention."

My eyebrows furrowed in concern. "And what might that be?"

Julian shrugged, his expression troubled. "No clue, but word has spread around the city about something pretty big."

"Well, since he wants me so badly," I muttered under my breath, frustration bubbling to the surface, "send out the other team. What was that guy's name again? Camouflage Crusader? Have him go after Plague. He's been causing chaos trying to get to him before us, endangering people in the process just because he wants to meet Plague so badly."

"Y/N, that doesn't sound like a good idea," Viola interjected, her voice laced with apprehension.

"Why not?" I challenged, my resolve unwavering. "It'll kill two birds with one stone."

The day finally arrived, and we executed our plan with precision. Police officers disguised as civilians discreetly patrolled the park while my team and I cautiously made our way into the abandoned apartments where the Teacher was rumored to be hiding.

It was meant to be a quick in-and-out operation, but the eerie silence that enveloped the place gave me pause. Julian and Viola positioned themselves by the door, exchanging a brief glance before Julian kicked it open. We were met with a grisly sight that froze us in our tracks: the Teacher, suspended in front of us, lifeless and grotesquely mangled.

Shock reverberated through the room as we took in the horrifying scene. The Teacher's body appeared to have been ravaged by a swarm of bees, the stings covering him from head to toe.

And there, amidst the carnage, lay a walkie-talkie emitting a static-filled voice.

"My dear little hero," the voice taunted, its tone dripping with malice. "It's so sad to see you running off to investigate some lowlife when I'm right here."

A chill ran down my spine as the realization dawned on me: Plague had been orchestrating this twisted game all along, luring us into a trap with the Teacher's demise as bait.
