TW: Blood, violence, & murder

------

Dream dragged Ink lightly out of the tent, despite his protests. It was early, not that he could tell, there was no sunrise to be able to tell the time. But he knew it was early because the only people who were awake were the people who were on guard duty for the night. He groaned and he could see Dream dragging him over to another tent, Swap was pacing right outside the entrance, fidgeting nervously. There was something wrong, something weird here, Ink knew it and he hated it, he wanted to go lie back down and sleep until Nightmare came to get him and take him away. He wanted to go home and get away from them.

Dream noticed the way Ink was eyeing their tent up; he wanted to sleep again. He grabbed him by his shoulders and walked him quickly in front of him instead of pulling him. When they were within a few feet of him Swap finally noticed they were there and he stood tall, as if he were at attention and addressing a king or general and not his lover and friend. He smiled at them despite the fact that they all looked exhausted, and Ink did not want to be there.

"Morning." He said with a smile as he leaned over Ink and gave Dream a chaste kiss on his cheek.

"Morning Love." Dream responded. "Is everything ready?"

"Yup." He said as he parted the cloth acting as the door to the tent.

Dream pushed Ink inside and both he and Swap followed behind. There wasn't much inside the place other than a chair that didn't look particularly comfortable and a table of tools that Ink couldn't properly see in the dark room. Dream turned him around and sat him down on the chair and Ink crossed his arms, pouting as he and Swap whispered about something too quiet for him to hear. He didn't care to know what they were going to try, maybe try and fix the brainwashing they were sure he was under-despite the fact that there was no brainwashing to be seen. Ink instead closed his eyes and tried to get more sleep since Dream so rudely woke him up and he hoped whatever they wanted to do was something that could happen while he was asleep.

That was until he heard the words "Remove it".

His eyes shot open as they had decided to remove something. What would they remove? What were they going to do to him? He looked over to them with wide and suspicious eyes and suddenly he didn't seem all too tired anymore.

"What are you talking about?" Ink demanded, making both of them glance over at him with frustrated and sad looks on their faces.

"Nothing Ink, you can just go back to sleep, it'll be alright." Swap said as he forced a smile.

Ink looked over to the table again, trying to squint through the darkness to see what sat there. Swap quickly moved in his way with that same forced smile. He rolled his eyes and turned away from Swap and Dream, staring blankly at the wall in an act of defiance that frustrated and saddened both of them. He would sit here and stare until they let him go or they were stupid enough to leave so that he could run again. But his hopes were dashed when he heard what sounded like the activation of some sort of device and Dream came in front of him, grabbing him and making it so that he wasn't able to move or fight at all. He tried to turn his head back but in that moment Dream used his magic to force Ink to become completely exhausted, and he couldn't move his body anymore.

"Do not worry, it will not hurt, we just need to get that thing off you and you can be free alright?" Dream said with a smile that only hurt Ink all the more.

He knew exactly what they were doing, and even despite the warm magic forcing his body to stop working and rendering him immobile he tried to struggle and fight. Ink gritted his teeth and despite how he couldn't move at all his voice still worked. He screamed, as loud as he possibly could, it made both of the men in the tent jump and Dream tried to push more of that painfully warm body into his body. As much as he tried to calm him, to quiet him he screamed his head off, and Dream quickly realised that if he kept screaming like this he would alert Nightmare's soldiers. Dream looked down, guilt filling his eyes as he pushed one final burst of magic into him, forcing Ink to pass out in his arms despite his struggling.
