What If

Beginning

Takes place during Maces and Talons, and this is what if Waldondo actually got to take the rescue riders to dragon hunter, also I'm cutting the other dragon out bc it's hard for me to write with so many of them

Dak, Leyla, Winger, and Summer were all helping Waldondo find Odin's gem, the five of them found a ship sailing through the water, "Down there!" Dak yells pointing towards the ship.

"The treasure must be in there." Waldondo tells them

"Let's check it out." Leyla says as they land

They land and walk towards the hatch to the lower part of the deck, Leyla and Dak walk down the stairs not noticing that Waldondo wasn't following them, they looked around but found nothing special, "There's no treasure in here." Dak says.

"Oh, but there is." Waldondo counters closing and locking the hatch.

"Waldondo, what are you doing?" Dak asks.

"Let us out." Leyla tells him.

"Why would I let you out when you are the treasure I've been hunting all along?" Waldondo tells them.

"What?" Dak asked.

"Marena." Leyla whispers to Dak

"I don't think Marena can help." Dak tells her.

"I am sorry. But when I heard about these magnificent dragons in Huttsgalor and you twos amazing ability to understand the beasts, I realized that they are more valuable than any treasure," Waldondo tells them.

"What are you going to do?" Leyla asks.

"I'm taking you guys and your dragons to hunters." Waldondo tells them.

"What happens after that?" Dak asks.
"I get my money and they do whatever they want with you two." Waldondo tells them.

Waldondo walks away, to start sailing the ship.

"What are we going to do?" Dak asks.

"I'm not sure Dak." Leyla tells him, "There's no way out."

"Are you sure?"

"Yes I'm sure." Leyla tells him, "Winger is out of blasts and Summer's water isn't going to do a thing."

"So we're stuck here?" Dak asks.

"Yep." Leyla tells him before sinking to the ground, Dak sits down next to her and leans his head against the wall they sail for a while before they feel the ship stop, Leyla stands up and walks toward the window to hear the conversation better.

"Who are you?" A person asks.

"I am Waldondo."

"Why are you here?" The person asks.

"I've got two dragons and two dragon riders." Waldondo tells them.

"Dragon riders, Ryker is going to want to see this." the person says while walking away.

After a few minutes the person comes back with the Ryker dude, "So you've got dragon riders?" Ryker asks.

'Not the ones you're expecting," Waldondo tells him.

"Who are they?" Ryker asks.

"The kids are Dak and Leyla, the rescue riders." Waldondo tells them

"The rescue riders? My hunters have been telling me that they have heard of these rescue riders." Ryker tells Waldondo.

"So do you want the kids and the dragons?" Waldondo asks.

"Yes, we'll take all of them." Ryker says, "Get some hunters to the dragons and I'll deal with the kids."

"They're below deck, I'll take you to them." Waldondo says

"Great." Ryker tells him.

Ryker, Waldondo, and a few hunters climb aboard the ship and start towards the hatch. "They're coming, Ley." Dak tells her

"I know." Leyla tells him.

"What are we going to do?" Dak asks.

"Nothing." Waldondo cuts into the conversation, the twins look over to the people who finished walking down the stairs.
"So these are the famous Rescue Riders." Ryker teases, "Take the dragons ashore and put them in cages, I'll take care of these kids.

"So, am I getting paid?" Waldondo asks.

"Yes," Ryker tells him, before one of his hunters smashes Waldondo in the head with a mace. Waldondo crumb;es to the ground and both of the kids back up towards the wall, "Don't worry kiddies, we aren't going to hurt you."

"You just killed Waldondo." Leyla tells him.

"Yeah I did but he wasn't needed, you two are needed." Ryker tells them, "Now my brother would love to meet the two of you."

Ryker puts cuffs on both of the twins and walks them towards Viggo's tent, pushing them into the tent Viggo sees the two for the first time, "Brother, aren't we above kidnapping kids?" Viggo asks.

"Well brother, these two kids are dragon riders." Ryker tells his brother

"Really?" Viggo asks.
"You know the Rescue Riders the hunters have seen?"

"Yes, why?"

"These two kids are the Rescue Riders."

"Really they're like 10." Dagur cuts in the conversation.

"Yes Dagur, these kids are the Rescue Riders." Ryker tells him.

"Well ain't that fun." Dagur says, looking at the kids.

"Dagur takes the Rescue Riders to the holding cells." Viggo tells him

"Ok Viggo." Dagur tells him, the three of them leave the tent and Dagur had one of his hands on each of the kid's backs they walked into the holding area but instead of Dagur putting them in a cell his turned around to face them, "Stay right here," Dagur say pushing them into a corner, "Don't move until I come back."

Dagur runs down the hall, towards where Heather was being kept, once he reached her cell she looked up to face him. "Dagur-" heather starts.

"Don't." Dagur says before letting her out and calling wind shear over.

Heather doesn't ask any questions and just leaves with her dragon, Dagur runs back to where he left the twins who were thankfully still where he left them, "Oh thank Thor." Dagur muttered, "We gotta go, let's find you dragons."
"Wait what?" Leyla asks.

"What's wrong?" Dagur asks.

"Are you helping us?" Dak asks.

"Yes." Dagur tells them, "Let's go."

The three of them ran to where all the cages were, they found Winger and Summer and let them out of the cages they were in, Dagur watched as the children reunited with their dragons then they were off Dagur rode with Dak and they left the island.
