I looked at the doctor in shock. My husband had the same exact reaction. "W- well ma'am, If we don't then your baby will die..."
I sigh as I am rushed into the operating room. My husband is in the lobby having a beer. It will be a quick process. In and out according to the doctors. how bad could it be?
22 hours later:
It was bad. I am in a recovery room looking like I've been through hell and back. My hair is disheveled and my makeup is ruined. My husband is sitting in a chair in the corner. He has a beer in hand and sipping it lightly. Eventually, a nurse comes in. "Would you like to meet your sons?" "Yes dear, that would be- ........ wait, sons as in plural?!" She looks up at me suddenly with shock. "Yes. Twins in fact. Didn't you know?"
