Dakota and his mama were getting ready as soon they would be heading to the airport.
'Maa hurry up' Dakota shouted since his mama was still in the bathroom doing her hair.
'Boy don't rush me' Tasha said as hse came out with her hand on her hips making them both laugh.
They were both enjoying the quality time they had spent together these passed few days.
Dakota's mama walked up to him giving him a hug as he layed his head on her chest.
'I love you so much my koko' Tasha sighed with a smile
'I love you to mama' Dakota smiled placing a kiss on her cheek.
Once they had gathered there luggage, they made there way down to lift.
Dakota pressed 𝐆 on the lift taking them down to the ground floor.
They quickly made there way to front handing the key to the recpsonist.
' Thank you for your stay here at Primrose hope you enjoyed.' The white middle aged women said with a smile.
' Yes we did thank you' Dakota's mama said as she and Dakota waved with a snile.
Making there way outside they spotted there uber waiting for them.
A man came out from the drivers seat kindly helping them with there luggage.
They got settled and headed to the airport which was not to far from the hotel which made there journey to the airport more quicker.
This would be a new start to there lives away from Chicago and all it's problems.
The two wondered what would be in store for them.

A hour later
Dakota and his mama were waiting to board on to the plane since they would be getting on soon.
' You happy baby' His mama asked looking at him
'Yes I am mama, how about you' Dakota smiled
'Very happy, Chicago came with to much drama and issues' She sighed 'I didn't want that for you koko'
Dakota smiled placing a kiss on her cheek.
They were interrupted when they heard the intercom saying they could now board the plane.
Settling in to there seats, his mama did a quick prayer for them before the plane took off.

Three hours later
There plane had finally arrived in California and the two were extremely tired after the long flight.
Walking to the front of the airport they waited for there Uber to come so they could go to the hotel they would be staying in for a couple of days.
' That flight was so long I'm tired- ' Tasha was interrupted when she heard someone calling her.
She saw her old best friend, Taraji walking towards them with a bright smile.
'I've missed you Tasha' Was the thing Taraji said giving Tasha a big hug.
They both were best friends in high school before they went separate ways when they both went to college.
'I've been looking for you for a couple of years but people said you were marrried with a child.'
'Yes tee I was married not anymore though' Tasha said sadly before smiling again
'Anyways this is my son Dakota' Tasha smiled
'Hello Ma'am' Dakota went to shake her hand before he was pulled into a tight hug
'Aww my baby just call me TT and I hope your mama made me your Godmother' Taraji said
'You know I did Tee but did you' Tasha said with her hands on her hips
'You know I did missy but how you know I have a child' Tasha's best friend said with her hands in her hip
'I just guessed' Tasha laughed
'Anyways what y'all doing here'
'We're moving here and we are just waiting for our Uber to take us to the hotel we will be staying in for a while'
'Hotel Tasha while I'm here y'all coming to stay with me as long as y'all want' Tasha knew her best friend when she said her full name so just nodded her head
'Okay Tee' Tasha said
'Yeah you know better than to say no and we're going to get some food' Taraji grabbed there luggage's as the two followed behind her.
Dakota laughed at them, he always desired to have a friendship like his mama and Taraji.
Getting in to the car she turned in the radio that played Self by Cleo Sol.

They all sat in Taraji's large garden as they ate around a low table sitting on comfortable cushions.
'So how old are you kota' Taraji said with a smile
'19 ma'am' Dakota said politely
'Boy stop all that ma'am shi I'm not that old' Taraji said making Tasha hit her on her arm
'Stop cussing infront of him missy' Tasha rolled her eyes
They both looked at her and laughed
'Mama you just cussed' Dakota laughed
'Koko I'm grown' His mama said flicking her hair to the side
Kota smiled ' I see why you guys are friends, you both act like each other it's cute'
They both smiled at him going around him to give him a hug.
Dakota loved life right now, he was surrounded by people who loved and cared about him.
