Dakota woke up to someone slapping his face, opening his eyes and rubbed it he looked to see Kaimani sitting in his chest with a wide smile.
'Birfday mama' Kaimani giggled causing Dakota to lift her off his chest as he sat up with her in his arms.
'Yes sweet girl it's your first birthday today, happy birthday my sweet girl I love you' Dakota smiled pecking her chubby cheeks.
'Tank you love you too' Kaimani kissed her mamas cheek in return.
Dakota smiled at his daughter, loving how she was beginning to say more words as she grew in the past few months.
He had decided for Kaimani's first birthday they would have a small get together with friends and family there to support Kaimani on her day.
They had already gotten most of the decor done the day before leaving Dakota and Duke with not a lot left to do.
'Phat breakfast is ready' Dakota heard his lover yell from down stairs.
'Okay let me just brush my teeth and I will be down' Dakota yelled back walking into the bathroom getting out both him and Kaimani's toothbrush which was smaller compared to her mamas.
Dakota started brushing his teeth as Kaimani did the same sitting on the counter. She had become more independent wanting to do things herself which made Dakota quite upset cause he still viewed her as his small little baby.
'Me done mama wook' Kaimani yelled after a couple of minutes showing offer her cleaned teeth and tongue.
'Well done baby give mama a high five' Dakota kissed her cheeks as Kaimani gave him a high five.
Dakota picked up Kaimani walked out of the room as he went down the stairs humming at the smell of the breakfast Duke had made.
'Happy birthday princess mwah' Duke took Kaimani from her mothers arms pecking her cheeks and head as she giggled playing with his hair.
'Mm this shi' so good baby you might have to make breakfast everyday '
Dakota moaned with a mouthful in his mouth eating the food whilst Duke laughed at the smaller sitting beside him and dishing out some food for himself and Kaimani.

'Grandma's baby looks so cute ain't that right mani baby' Tasha played with Kaimani causing the little girl erupt in a fit of giggles.
'No Tasha this Grandpa's baby' Clifford grabbed Kaimani away from Tasha throwing her in the air and catching her.
'Don't do that again Cliff I'm warning your ass' Tasha scolded pointing her finger at the man.
'Stop worrying baby she good look' Clifford kissed Tasha's cheek causing her to blush.
Dakota chuckled at his mother she was really something else.
'What you laughing at baby' Duke came behind the smaller smacking his ass.
'My mama' Dakota responded as Duke hummed.
'Our baby so grown now phat I can't believe that shi' and it was all by your pretty ass so thank you phat I love you' Duke kissed Dakota's neck and cheek whilst the younger smiled.
Dakota loved how the older appreciated him so much and was always loud about his love for the younger.
'I love you too baby and I think we should cut the cake now cause I been eyeing it down for a while now' Dakota expressed earning a laugh from Duke.
'Alright phat I will get Kaimani and everyone else so we can cut the cake' Duke pecked Dakota's lips as he nodded.
Dakota was walking to the where the cake was untold mum he was pulled by someone, turning around to see his mama he smiled.
'My koko you don't know how proud of you I am seeing you as a mother and lover is something I have always had a dream about for you, I love you so much my baby' Tasha spoke softly holding her son's face watching as tears appeared in his eyes pulling him into a hug they rocked side to side.
Unbeknownst to them Clifford and Duke recorded the two with smiles on both their faces.
'I love you too mama'
Dakota's head pressed into his mamas neck as tears fell, the words his mother had said to him had really hit him, so grateful that she was happy for him and guided him by herself through out his life.
