The Magic Door

Chapter 2

Bright lights flashed in front of me! "HELP" I screamed at the top of my lungs. "Adora, Flynn, do something!"
By now the gate had sucked everything but my head and arms, I thought I was a goner. Now it was getting hard to breath, seeing that my head was completely submerged in whatever this gritty, gelatin like substance was. I was getting deeper, the only thing left of me was my fingertips barely sticking out. Then I felt something. Yes! Someone was trying to pull me out, but instead of pulling me out they were being sucked in. I saw someone's head come into the substance, the last thing I remembered was making out Adoras face right before I blacked out. When I woke up Flynn and Adora were right next to me, my head was spinning so I couldn't really see what was infront of me. Then I realized I didn't want to. There was a town... A town with the strangest people. Some looked like they were part bird part lion? Others looked like part elephant part deer? We hadn't seen anything like it. Just as I was beginning to calm down Adora screamed and ran, then I saw what she was running towards. A Pegasus! The whole town stopped what they were doing and stared, you could have heard a pin drop. Then the Pegasus looked straight up at her and said "Well what are you so happy about, some people do like to be left alone you know"." I..uh I'm sorry, I didn't mean to..." "Oh Mercy, apologize!" Said a plump old lady . "Fine, I'm sorry." Said the Pegasus in one of the rudest tones I've ever heard. "Ma''am?" Said Flynn. "Yes Sugar?" "Do you know how we can get back to the rose covered gate?" "You must be confused, I've been here almost as long as the town has and I've never seen a rose covered gate". "What Are we going to do"?! Said Adora in her panicky voice. "Don't worry, we'll find a way somehow." I said confidently trying to reassure her. "Ok" said the lady. "We obviously have had a bad start, let's start over. I'm Amira and this snobby nosed Pegasus is Mercy. You must be tired from your long journey, lets go to the palace and you can rest while I get you young'ins something to munch on. "To the palace we go!" Flynn announced.
