"Individuals are entitled to make their own choices; however, they must also accept the repercussions that come with their decisions."
The rain raked the soil ground, Destitute bounds her existence, her legs were caught by paralysis and her unkempt mien expressed the past indeed. Prayambad entered with his pressed-together hands and offered her some food. She ingurgitated the comestible. Prayambad asked her some questions while she was chomping but she not answered him.
When she was taking her last down cram, again Prayambad tried to elicit her silent demeanour, "Who is Oorja? Where is she? Do you know, that Oorja still loves you..." Chitrangada burst into tears and said, "No, She...she hates me a lot" Prayambad asked, "Why?" Then she Narrates her side of the Narration.
[When Jhumi (Oorja) and Ohit became orphans, I crossed every limitation of inhumanity. I used to send Ohit to Machi Bazaar (Fish market) to earn and if he returned with empty hands, I used to punish him.
Jhumi was burdened with house chores, my heartless conduct erased their childhood.
When Ohit turned 14, I ousted him, and when Oorja was 10, I sold her. She came back from the Sonagachi, but not Ohit.
I want them back...
She was just 18 years old; I married her off to more than double her age, Man. [Prayambad asked "From where does he belong?"] Mejhia]
After a long silence in which sobbing echoed, Prayambad demonstrated his gratitude and came out of the shack, In all that, Neel came with a news newspaper and showed Prayambad. Prayambad state permeated by flabbergast. The newspaper expressed the Government issued an Article in which Ohit was most wanted for them.
Prayambad held himself and gathered his disintegrated state. He began his quest journey towards Mejhia, but before he left, he told Neel to go to MadIyapure. Neel displayed his web of questions and Prayambad said that he would anon tell him.
Whereas, Prayambad embroidered the intricate on the tapestry of the story. He arrived in Mejhia, with the help of Suresh. He asked a passerby, "Excuse me, mister do you know, where does Mr NIDEESH DAS?" The passerby told him his address.
Prayambad knocked on the door; a coffin-dodger lady unbolted the door and welcomed him; he saw a man on a wooden cot who was suffering from Hepatitis B, Prayambad asked by showing Oorja's photo, "Do you know her?" He was shocked and refused to recognize her but Prayambad said, "I know she was your wife years ago" Further he said, "If you don't tell me then I will tell the police as Chitrangada already told about you"
The Man pusillanimously said, "No, no don't do this... I will tell you"
[Years ago, my brother NIDEESH DAS got married to this girl and it's not his first marriage. He was a polygamist, sadistic, inhumane personality, first, he married a woman named Phool, who was an orphan, timid and downtrodden, and when she gave birth to a child with AUTISM, he beat her up. When she gave birth to a disabled child, he married Oorja; Phool never considered her co-wife, she called her a Small sister, but he beat both wives.
One day, He engaged in Domestic violence with Phool and ended her life. After Phool demise, Oorja is left alone and she becomes a punching bag for both mother and son. Nideesh locked her in the room every night but when he left for work, his mother unlocked the door only for chores. She secretly meets Dev [Autistic child]. As Oorja's fondness for Phool's child Dev was pure. Her mother-in-law Deboshree, always wondered if she was a witch.
One day, mistakenly, Dev slept in the lap of Oorja, and Oorja also fell asleep; in all that, Nideesh came and saw. He beat Dev, and unfortunately, Dev died [previously, he warned Dev to don't go near Oorja as she is Untouchable because he got to know she was Prostitution].
Years later, Oorja's pain increased with time. She used to call for help from the locked room, but there was no responsive silence, gulping her soul.
One day, Nideesh tried to molest her, Oorja to save her life throttled his neck and was saying in vigorously, "Tumne mere Dev ko mardiya, Mera Bōna ko bhi mardiye aur mere Premi ko bhi"["You killed my Son, you killed my sister[co-wife] and my lover too."] and stabbed his soulless body.
I was paralysed. I couldn't go and see what was happening there.]
Prayambad asked, "His Premi?" Nideesh's brother said, "I don't know whose she was talking about". In all that, a coffin-dodger lady came (Deboshree) and told her further story.
[His Premi came two weeks before he died of Nideesh, he was yelling Oorja's name and calling her out.
After a long argument, between Nideesh and that...Purvang, Nideesh threw an ignited wood at him. fortunately, nothing happened to him but he fainted. Nideesh was enraged and took him in his unconscious state and threw him on Alipath Road.
My existence is a fire in the fire of alas.]
Prayambad vision organ filled with tears. He embarked on his journey back to Manzilabad.
In MadIyapure
Neel started searching for Ohit but was unable to locate him. He reached out to Rasool to inquire about Ohit's whereabouts. Rasool cautioned Neel against mentioning Ohit's name.
Subsequently, another murder took place, and Ohit was falsely accused, with the village Talukdars being responsible for placing the blame on him. Due to Ohit, the Talukdars harbour animosity as their human trafficking operations ceased.
