Aadhya's POV:
It was 6:00 AM, and the soft morning light was gently peeking through the curtains as I woke up, my heart racing with excitement. Today was not just any ordinary day—it was the day I had long dreamt of. My best friend, Brinda, and I were finally going to accomplish something huge: launching a new branch of our fashion company, AB Fashion Co., in Delhi. This dream project had been brewing in our hearts for years, and today, it was about to become a reality.
As I climbed out of bed, a surge of anticipation ran through me. After washing up and completing my morning routine, I headed to my closet, searching for the perfect outfit. My fingers trailed over the hangers until my eyes locked on *the* dress—an elegant, pristine white dress that exuded sophistication and professionalism. It was simple yet breathtaking, with its soft fabric flowing gracefully. I slipped into it, pairing it with a silver ring, a delicate accent that added just the right touch of charm. I opted for minimal makeup, just a glossy sheen on my lips. As I glanced at myself in the mirror, a sense of quiet confidence washed over me. I was ready.Suddenly, a soft knock echoed from my door, interrupting my thoughts. I opened it to find Brinda standing there, looking as radiant as ever in a beautiful asparagus-green suit. Indian attire always seemed to elevate her beauty. The colors complemented her perfectly, making her look elegant yet comfortable.
I couldn't help but admire her for a moment, my mind lost in thought until she waved a hand in front of my face, bringing me back to the present.
"You're looking stunning as always, Briiii!" I gushed, a wide smile spreading across my face.Brinda chuckled softly, her eyes twinkling. "Thank you, and you're looking gorgeous too, Aadhuu!"
Just then, Brinda mentioned that my mom was calling us for breakfast. I glanced at the clock—it was already 9:00 AM, and our flight was at 10:00! Panic bubbled inside me as I realized we were running late. The airport was a good thirty minutes away, and we needed to leave *now*. We rushed downstairs to find my parents waiting at the table, breakfast spread out before them. The aroma of maa's cooking filled the air, but my mind was too preoccupied to fully savor it. After a quick meal, maa and papa gave us their ashirwad, wishing us luck for our new venture. The moment was filled with love and encouragement as we hugged them goodbye.
With bags in hand, Brinda and I hurried out the door, racing to the airport. The drive felt like a blur, the city of Kolkata flying past us as our excitement built. We arrived just in time, and soon we were soaring through the sky, heading toward our new adventure in Delhi.
The two-hour flight felt like forever and a heartbeat at the same time. Once we landed, our manager greeted us with a warm welcome, and we headed straight to our new apartment—our new home, the one we'd dreamed of sharing since childhood. The excitement of finally being here was overwhelming, but we had no time to settle in. A meeting awaited us.
We quickly freshened up and dashed to the meeting venue. It was a pivotal moment, the first step in our journey. And as expected, the meeting was a success. Our hard work had paid off. Afterward, we treated ourselves to lunch at a nearby restaurant, soaking in the atmosphere of Delhi, our new city. Brinda's mom called during lunch, and they exchanged a few words before reminding us to rest.
Finally, when the day came to an end, we returned to our apartment. Exhausted but fulfilled, Brinda and I chatted briefly before heading to our rooms. As my head hit the pillow, sleep took over instantly.
