Chapter-6.Two souls

So it's been one week since we shifted here for our brand new branch and this one week was really really a hectic one each and every second we were pressurized because we don't want to become a flop show even before the show starts , we were so busy in these days that we didn't even had time to talk to our parents and I lowkey miss them I wished if I would be able to eat the Bengali delicious food which I'm craving so much especially the food made by my maa and adhuu's mom like I really love their hands food they are MasterChefs I'm telling you all and my mom's spicy food is too good whereas mashi's sweet dishes are like the best sweet dishes she cooks exactly like she is super sweet and my maa is the baddass one in their duo so her food are also like her spicy and yes I'm exactly opposite of her but I do possess her baddass side sometimes but that side doesn't show up much or you can say never but sometimes some useless stupid people brings that side of mine to destroy their so called ego but nevermind I'm a good person afterall

Anyway no more out of topic talk let's talk business today I want to celebrate our survival in this place so I'm thinking of celebrating it in our home itself as we both don't have time to go for a fancy restaurant or bar so after thinking so much about how to celebrate I came to a solution of celebrating at home by ourselves. This way we will have some quality time to spend with each other as from the past few months we were busy because of this new branch's grand entry and our employees party is also pending we have many party in our attend to list so I can assure that we are soon going to become robots and at the speed adhu is working I swear she can transform into one today no doubt she is working like a crazy workaholic person I mean she is workaholic but it is just too much for her *sigh*

After overthinking early in the morning instead of exercising I did great Hain Naa!!! Oh God it's already 7 in the morning damn I hate my overthinking phase anyway I should do some exercises before I become a aalu(potato)

After working for 1 hour finally I can freshen up and wear the new white anarkali I bought just before coming to Delhi I bought it for its simple yet elegant design it's a street shop's dress but no one can differentiate between it being a street shop dress or a fancy designer's

I quickly took a shower as I'm already late today so after coming out of the bathroom I swiftly adorned myself in that beautiful anarkali and I looked at the mirror at my reflection and my eyes shone at the sight I am looking even better than I thought I will look wearing it but nevermind aami sob kisutei sundor dekhte (I look beautiful in everything)

I wonder what excuse I'll give aadhu about so that she doesn't suspect me cause this is a surprise party for her she is been busy a lot recently so I wanted her to feel relief and enjoy like we did on that night but my super smart brain is not braining right now anyway leave I'll figure it out when the time comes right now I should get ready

And after getting ready I looked at myself for the last time weather I'm looking okay or not and left my room after entering the dining room I found my girl in her daily formals doing something on her phone and I exclaimed "hello ma'am aren't you tired of working even at home" and there comes her universal reply "just 5 minutes more "

Then it soon became 30 minutes and now I'm done eating my breakfast by just looking at it which probably must have become cold till now and I said with frustration " see adhu enough is enough it's been 30 mins since you said 5 mins more and the breakfast has turned cold now when are you planning to eat it"
And here comes she "sorry bri I was so caught up that I forgot about you and breakfast" so now we are eating the icy white sauce pasta which was supposed to be hotty" then eating it we left for our office in her Lamborghini as she loves sports cars and luxury a lot

~In office

We entered in the office and after parking the car we made our way to the lift and I was busy reading some files which my assistant gave me as soon as I entered the building and aadhu is engrossed in her call talking to a new client soon the door opened and we moved separately to our cabins and entering the cabin I started doing my work so that I can go to buy the things I need for our party. I even didn't took break for lunch today, and now I am hungryyy I should have ate something but resisting my hunger I engrossed myself into completing the task and finally after so much of difficulties I completed my work at 5 and now I have to convince her to let me go buy some groceries I hope this excuse will work *finger cross 🤞*
