skip to when all the girls are boarding the plane as there first camp is in australia

Elena is sat next to Leah behind Alessia and Ella, she looks out the window while picking at her hands and her leg shaking a lot

Leah: "you okay Lena"

Elena: "i just don't like flying that's all" she gives her a weak smile to try and make leah not realise how anxious she is about flying.

Leah: "can you hold this for me" she hands Elena a pen to fiddle with to stop her picking her skin.
The plane begins to move down the runway and Elena grips onto the giraffe teddy that she has had since she was little to try and help her calm her nerves but nothing is really helping she just keeps going over all the bad things that could happen in her head.

Leah's pov-
She leans forward towards Lessi's chair and taps her shoulder

Alessia: "you alright le" she moves her headphones so she can listen.

Leah: "i am but lena isn't she's a nervous flyer, like really nervous do you know anything that can help."

Alessia: "bad time to be a nervous flyer this is such a long flight bless her"

Leah: "i know what can i do to help her"

Alessia: "distractions. Literally anything to make it so she isn't thinking about it, just keep her company, tell me if you need me again"

Leah: "thanks less your a life saver"

Back to Elena
She is now zoned out still clinging to her childhood teddy trying to relax her mid but nothing is helping.

Leah: "hey lena how's England been so far"

Elena takes a deep breath before replying with a slightly shaky voice.

Elena: "yeah i mean it's está bien but i sometimes miss Spain"

Leah: "and what does that mean again"

Elena: "sorry i forgot you don't speak Spanish, it means alright"

Leah: "why don't you teach me something in Spanish"

Elena realises the plane is just about to take off so doesn't answer but grabs hold of Leah's hand and holds her teddy close.

Leah: "hey it's okay, i've been on so many planes before and this is all normal"

Elena quickly lets go of Leah's hand after realising what she had just done

Elena: "lo siento, wait no sorry"

Leah: "i don't mind" she takes hold of Elena's hand and holds it until Elena wants to let go.

As soon as the seatbelt sign turns off Leah takes hers off and goes to take to Alessia and Ella for a minute. Elena keeps hers on as her nerves haven't settled a lot, she starts picking at her nails again before Alessia comes over and sits in Leah's seat.

Alessia: "hey P how you feeling"

Elena: "I don't really like flying so not the best"

Alessia: "I used to hate flying when I was
younger, I once told my mum I wouldn't go on holiday because I was that scared" they both laugh a bit

Elena: "It didn't bother me until I was about ten, I used to love being on planes but then I had to learn about planes in school, I had to do a project about them so went home one night and searched them up. Everything was fine until I came across a website where it showed you plane crashed and everything that can go wrong with them. When I saw the remains of someone who had died in a plane crash on there it sent me over the edge, I haven't liked flying since."
