The ball at her feet

Elena, Leah, Alessia, Ella, Keira and Georgia all arrive at the shopping centre closest to their camp and all jump out of the car and begin walking in.

Leah: "So ladies which shop are we heading to first."

Lucy: "I say we go looking for socks, Lena and G both have massive holes in their ones they were wearing after training." she laughs

Georgia: "Hey they were the only good ones i could find" she laughs going red from embarrassment.

Elena: "I just don't have socks" she laughs and so does everyone else.

They walk around the centre shopping they get a collection of trainers, socks and other bits and bobs. Alessia, Ella and Elena are all walking behind the others messing about and laughing together.

Keira: "Come on children let's go get food" she turns around to face them and laughs

Elena: "Está bien mamá" (okay mum)

Ella: "Yeah what she said" the three laugh together and all the girls head to get food.

Leah: "I'm going to get a pizza and salad from the restaurant back there it smelt amazing" she says pointing back to it.

Elena: "La pizza ha un profumo eccezionale solo in Italia" (pizza only smells amazing in italy)

Alessia: "i know that one, she said pizza only smells amazing in italy" she smiles

Elena: "bravissima Alessia" she laughs and claps sarcastically.

Ella: "Lena can you please please please teach me some italian or spain" she smiles

Elena: "Por supuesto que lo haré. Ella seré tu profesora de español"

Ella: "um" she goes a bit red in the cheeks

Elena: "Of course i will, Els i will be your spanish teacher" she laughs a bit at Ella's confusion

Ella: "yay" she shouts throwing her hands up.

Alessia: "Lena i hope you know that boy has not stopped staring at you the whole time we've been here" she whispers signalling to a tall blonde boy with green eyes who is working at starbucks

Elena: "oh shut it you" she blushes

Alessia: "i'm not kidding P, go talk to him"

Elena: "Less knowing me i'll turn Spanish and start rambling"

Alessia: "It's worth a shot you need a drink anyway" she pushes her slightly and Elena walks over fiddling with her rings.

Elena goes up to the shop and opens the door before walking to the service desk that he is at.

Him: "And what can i get for you beautiful" he smiles.

Elena: "Caramel iced coffee topped with whipped cream please" she smiles back at him.

Him: "Can i get your number with that or just a name" he smiles and winks making Elena giggle.

Elena: "I will give you a name and you can give me yours and your number on the cup." she smiles

Him: "My names Mason, Mason Lenton" he puts out his hand

Elena: "Elena Pérez" she shakes his hand

Mason: "Your coffee will be ready soon Elena"
Elena stands back until her coffee is done, Mason hands it to her and points to the side of it which says; 'See you around beaut' and his number on it.

Elena walks out smiling and sits back down with Alessia and Ella

Alessia: "So what did he say" she says excited

Elena points to the cup and Alessia hugs her and laughs.
Leah comes over and sees the cup and laughs making Elena go red in the face.

Leah: "look at Pérez, all grown up" she ruffles Elena's hair before they all finish eating and walk out of the food court. While they pass Starbucks Elena looks in and makes eye contact with Mason who smiles and winks at her making her blush.

All the girls get back to the camp at around 4 but no one minds since they don't have training that day, Elena is sat on a pitch outside by herself texting Mason back and forth. She finds out that he is just here visiting family for a few months and that he lives back in London which is very good for Elena. He knows about Elena being a professional footballer and that she is in Australia for a camp, but he doesn't mind.
Elena is just kicking a ball around since they haven't texted in a while until she feels someone jump on her back.

Georgia: "Since when were you gonna tell me about the boy" she gets off and starts tickling Elena.

Elena: "G stop it" she laughing a lot

Georgia: "okay but tell me about this boy"

Elena: "Well i saw him in Starbucks earlier and less said he hadn't stopped looking at me so i went to get a drink and he called me beautiful"

Georgia: "andd" she laughs

Elena: "he gave me his number and i found out he lives in London and is just here visiting family but that's all" she smiles

Georgia: "Look at little Lena growing up" she laughs

Elena: "did you need anything else or did you just want to find out about Mason"

Georgia: "yeah, we are heading to dinner in ten minutes and then we are having a movie night in my room"

Elena: "okay i'll be there"

All the girls have dinner and then head to Georgia's hotel room to watch a movie, everyone is in pyjamas and eating snacks trying to figure out what movie to watch. They eventually settle on watching the women in black, everyone is cuddled together and Elena is settled next to Leah until there is a jump-scare and she jumps out of her skin. Leah notices and hugs her, Elena continues to jump throughout the movie and no one else notices until popcorn flies everywhere and she screams "mierda" (fuck).

Leah: "You really don't like jump-scares do you" she puts Elena's face into her chest.

Elena: "i hate them" she whispers trying not to disrupt everyone else any more than she has.

Alessia notices her and mouths to leah asking if she is okay, Leah mouths yes but Alessia gets up and goes over to them.

Alessia: "Lena i'm going outside for a bit, you wanna come"

Elena: "oh my yes please" she laughs and walks outside the room with less

Alessia: "not a big fan of horror movies then" she smiles and puts a hand on Elena's shoulder

Elena: "definitely not" she laughs

Alessia: "i just wanted to check in with you, you know with family and stuff, i don't expect you to have many people to talk to about personal stuff"
Elena freezes at the fact and flashbacks of her mother run through her head.

Alessia: "hey it's okay you don't have to talk about it" she wipes a tear off Elena's cheek

Elena: "no it's okay, no one has ever asked me about that"

Alessia: "Do you want to talk about anything now, i'm always here to listen" she smiles and so does Elena at the fact that someone is there for her

Elena: "I don't think i'm ready to"

Alessia: "That okay hun, i'm here when you are ready though okay." she embraces Elena into a hug.

Elena: "thank you lessi"
