The scene opens up with Lupin and Andrew in their hideout. The two are watching the American espionage television series called Mission: Impossible. The episode they're watching is The Window (Season 2, Episode 1). Andrew is sitting on a lounge chair with a footrest, eating popcorn with butter as Lupin arrives from the kitchen with two Coke soda cans. He handed one to Andrew and opened it as he sat beside him.
Andrew: Thanks, Lupin. (open up a can and drink it)
Lupin: Anytime, buddy. (eating popcorn) I thought this show was boring, but this was exciting to watch.
Andrew: I knew you would like this. I watched so many spy movies, that I started to think I wanted to be a secret agent, like James Bond.
Lupin: James Bond never had a team like that.
Andrew: But he did in some films, usually his CIA friend or other contacts of MI6. This series was also inspired by James Bond with its gadgets, locations, villains, and greatest one-liners. Sean Connery nails the role of 007, even though he is Scottish, but hey, Ian Fleming changed his background in his books.
Lupin: I was thinking of Richard Todd to play the role. He does look like the character from the book.
Andrew: Well, in my opinion, Richard Johnson would look perfect for the part. He has that cold expression that could kill a man and get any woman. But I could be wrong. Maybe he thinks he won't be as successful as Sean Connery. (drinks soda)
Lupin: What was life like being James Bond?
Andrew: Let's see. Well, Bond drives wonderful cars, has some amazing gadgets, travels around the world, fights bad guys, and gets the ladies. We might have a similarity, except you being rejected by every girl you encountered because you wanted to take things matters into your own hands. For me, every woman I met would either want to go on a date or sleep with me. I treat them with respect.
Lupin: Hey now. I treat women too, especially some pretty ones. (chuckles with a perverted expression) And besides, women can be a bit aggressive with me sometimes. It's just, that they don't understand how a man can conquer them through charms and good looks.
Andrew: From someone who is the grandson of the most famous gentleman thief in the world, I guess that makes sense because you steal things.
Lupin: Exactly. It's all about blending in with society and waiting at the right moment to strike and take the prize.
Andrew: (chuckles) That's Gentleman Thief 101 right there.
Lupin: Damn right it is. Cheers.
The two share a toast with their soda cans and drink it in unison as they watch the show. It was later interrupted by a telephone ringing where Andrew was sitting next to.
Lupin: You mind picking that up?
Andrew: (sighs) I bet it's that con artist trying to sell us useless products. (picks up the phone) Listen, we don't want to buy your worthless junk.
Unknown Caller: I'm not the salesman, sir.
Andrew: Then may I ask who's calling?
Unknown Caller: I am calling on the behavior of the Japanese government.
