Invader Jacob (Guardian Tales)

[Snippet] Shopping

While exploring this one's familiar layout, I spot a shopping cart near a fruit stand. Seems like it is in good condition as well. As I walk up to it I tested it out. Hmm...wheels are slightly busted and misaligned, handles need a slight fix and the gaping hole in the middle...nothing that I can't fix yeah...

Jacob spends a couple of minutes looking around his area to fix the shopping cart. Best he could do is to fix up the wheels and apply cardboard and very strong adhesives for the cart's whole holes and voila. He pants before looking around, checking for any monsters, security, or any people in general he decides to do what he always wanted to do.

The sound of laughter, a shopping cart skidding across the floor reverberated accross the Kama-Zone, grocer of level 3. The noise dies down and repeats with no interval nor end. Due to this, a lone security droid, forced to boot up and do their job, grumbily seeks the source of their woes. She finally finds the source and stalks their noise complaint only to see an Invader making one of those 'obstacle courses' or a 'race tracks' for it's shopping cart. Weird. Anyway, she watches patiently as it finishes the course and presses record in internally when it was ready. 

The security droid watches as it taps on the shopping carts handle before talking to itself about something. It then added some miscellanious objects to the cart for weight before it goes back a bit and suddenly runs forward with the shopping cart. With enough speed gathered, it putting its legs up on the shopping cart's lower tray, as if its a scooter. It then produced he "whoohoo", putting his arm up in the air while the other holding on to the handles for dear life.

It then stomp its foot to the ground, performing a drift through the obstacle course and kept its feet close to the ground, acting as a brake. The more she watched the more she wanted to join. Afterall, she was the only one currently online tackling this problem, she decided to do a different approach in handling vandals. She shuts off the video recorder and quietly approached the Invader.

As Jacob crosses the faux paw finish line, he raises both of his arms up and did a quiet victory cackle to himself. Looking back to the mess he made, he decides to redo the course all over again. While he was repairing the middle section of the race he suddenly got chills when someone called out to him, "You're under arrest Invader!". He inadvertently drops the soup cans, fortunately not breaking them. "Any of all Kama-Zone relics that are disturbed or destroyed must be payed. Do you understand?" questioned the security droid, she looked at it with cold dead eyes, an intimidation tactic taught by the higher ups. 

Jacob, now busted and internally panicking, replied honestly "Y-yes!". A male? Huh, the more you know. "Fortunately for you" she paused for dramatic effect, "I'm quite bored at this time, mind if I joined you?". Jacob, understandably, replied with an "uhhh, sure, why not." not wanting to be in trouble, he chastised himself for being too distracted and now is on the mercy of this droids whims.

'Scratch that, this droid is hella chill'. For the past like, 30 minutes or so. The Invader and Security Androird were just having fun, like two bros doing the same but in an abandoned supermarket in an apocalypse, these two acted quite like them in all honestly.

Just having fun, carefully not destroying product or two ('I don't know how to get bottlecaps or if  they accept bottlecaps as payment' Jacob added internally), both of them telling the other in off-handed comments about their current stress and how this was just enough for them to destress. All was well until...

Sounds of an alarm was heard throughout the 3rd floor, both Invader and Security Droid looked at each other and ram towards the source. They both notice a thief about to leave a jewelry store before noticing the duo. Now locked in a 3-way staredown, they anxiously wait what the other would do-

The Invader suddenly threw a piece of broken metal towards the thief, he narrowly avoided it and began to flee. 

Now running for dear life, the thief briefly looked at his back wnd saw a red-eyed Invader with a baton at hand as well as the equally terrifying security android chasing their ass down with a taser in hand. What rotten luck!

Possible non-canon stuff:

A security android, entered the 3rd floor after receiving a report that the previous one didn't report back nor return back. She would give that droid a piece of her mind for disturbing her ppeace when she heard a sudden shriek. Following basic in-built orders, she ran towards the source when she noticed a peculiar sight, the previous android that was sent onto this floor released her taser from the goblin's body along with an Invader looking at it.

They then kicked it aggresivly like it was a damn bug, saying that they disturbed their therapy seession or something. She angrily steps forward to confront and arrest these fools until she noticed the goblin gripping her necklace that she bought and stored at her favorite store...She joined in the beating as well.
