The Dragon Flame's Protector

Chapter 1

Today is the day,I am finally attending Alfea as a specialist due to my dad (who's the best specialist anyone has seen in years ).I have been training for this my entire life and also to protect the infamous dragon flame (no pressure).

As I am packing for my first year,my dad entered my room and I couldn't help but sigh audibly."need any help ?" Dad questioned."nope,nearly done" I said in a quiet tone.

After a brutal few minutes in awkward silence my dad finally spoke "You rember what you meant to do,correct?" I couldn't help but to roll my eyes and sarcastically respond "Now what am I forgetting?Oh right the dragon flame."

Dad said in a sharp tone "This isn't a joke.This is a serious mission.." He started rambling about the dragon flame ... blah blah ..... protect them ... blah blah .... you have been trained for this your whole life....blah blah.i have heard this speech hundred times growing up.My father and I were never had a normal relationship,it was mostly based on training me.So our relationship you could say is slightly strained.

I finally zoned back in after I heard my father say "do you understand me?" I distractedly responded "yeah yeah."My father said in an angry tone "were you even listening?" I responded in an exasperated tone "Dad! I've been training for this my entire life.I think I've got this".Dad said nothing but just storm out of the room angrily,his parting words being to "not screw this up."

After an hour,I had finally finished packing and was now in my way to Alfea,and my dad couldn't make it as apparently he had business to attend to,so we had a very tense goodbye and I had quickly left and got in the car he ordered.As I finally arrived after a half an hour's trip.

I couldn't help but to be in awe of this school,of course I had heard all about for my dad but seeing it is something else.As I got my bags and made my way inside,I was so focused on looking around that I accidentally bumped into this girl,with bright red hair.
