The rest of the day progressed smoothly. Everybody was sat in the living room and the parents were talking happily. Every once in a while Aurora and Jungkook would add to the conversation. Hanni also spoke and answered the lady's questions. Hanni quickly understood that the lady was very kind and so was her husband. This led her to the conclusion that Jungkook was also very well mannered.
Hanni blushed thinking back to what had happened earlier:
When they had came inside, Hanni had had to serve tea.
When she had reached Jungkook, she asked him how much sugar he would like. And he had replied with "I like my tea sweet, 2 please." all while looking straight at her. A part of Hanni cringed and the other had melted away.
When time had come, Her mum asked all of them to go to the dining room. Everybody left the room and went to the dining except Hanni. She stayed back and watched them all go. When she thought all of them had gone to the dining, She sneaked to the back door which was connected to the area where the dining's door lead.
She slowly opened a cabinet nearby and grabbed a packet of treats. She swiftly opened the pack and took one biscuit out. She then proceeded to open the door to the back and made a rushing motion with her hand and a psss noise with her mouth.
A cute ash colored cat rushed to her as it heard her sound. Hanni began to pet it while talking to it.
"Hey there Coco. I knew you were hungry. I'm sorry mum doesn't let you in. You see she's just scared. Even though she knows you wouldn't hurt a fly. Here look, I brought you a treat."
The cat meowed as Hanni gave it well deserved rubs on the head. She extended her other hand to give it the biscuit. The cat happily devoured the whole thing and meowed happily. Hanni also smiled. Her smiled was quickly replaced with horror when she heard someone clearing their throat behind her.
Hanni quickly stood up and turned around.
Jungkook stood there with a questioning look on his face. His lips fought a smile. He had been out attending another call and was on his way back to the dining when he had seen Hanni talking cutely to the cat and had decided to surprise her.
"I-I was just petting the cat. Mum doesn't like cats and Coco here is really sweet so..." She trailed off as she explained.
Jungkook laughed and said, "I figured that much out. You must really like cats to sneakily pet them like this?"
Hanni smiled and nodded her head vigorously. "Yeap I love cats very very much. But Mum won't let me keep one." She frowned.
Jungkook found this extremely cute.
"There's actually this really cute cat library around here. Have you ever been to it?" Jungkook asked. Hanni raised her eyebrows curiously. "No. Where is it? Do you think you could show me someday?" Hanni asked and surprised herself.
Jungkook raised his eyebrows, amused. She asked him instead of the other way around. He smiled slyly and replied with, "Sure, I'd love to. Should we exchange numbers for that?"
