✧˖° JAKE's POV:

I'm getting ready for another day of work. It's been days since me and Tiffany argued. What a great start in a marriage. We both didn't want, there isn't one day that i don't wonder how this will work out.

It's 5a.m. right now, i get in the shower cold water hitting my skin. Waking me up. After the shower i shaved, did my skincare and put my suit on.

I exited the bathroom silently, and passed Tiffany's room without making any sound to not wake her up. I wonder how long the brat stayed up last night. I made myself some coffee and appreciated the city from above.

The sun has started to rise. It's seven a.m. now. Time to go. I chugged my first coffee ans held the second one in my hand. I left through the door.

I took my car, yes i do have a car and know how to drive. It's a mercedes g- wagon. One of my favorite cars.

I drove away and put on my playlist. Future is my favorite artist eventhough people say it is fuckboy music.

The sun shone a bright red orange hue, i un buttoned my shirt a bit and turned the AC on. The coffee warmed me up.

My dad was planning to share 50% of his company with me, let's go. I pulled up to the company and saw my best friend Sunghoon on his phone. He was drinking coffee with his glasses on. He said it's a new fashion trend to wear them even if you don't need them.

I walked up to him with hands in my pockets. "yo Hoon what's up?" i dabbed him up

"ayee Jake, i heard Tiff moved in recently. Y'all folks sharing a bed?" he smirked teasingly

"no you dingus, she's in the guest room" i pushed him off

"oh no not the guest room" Sunghoon mumbled in horror "i always used to hear a woman screaming from one of the closets. Are you trying to murder your fiancée?!"

"what are you babbling about Sunghoon?" I rolled my eyes. This guy bruh.

"I'm telling you, you better get home before midnight or your fiancée ain't alive anymore" Sunghoon spoke so seriously it scared me. Lil bro thinks he's a mastermind ghost buster.

"Hoon you can't be serious right now, who am I? Cinderella? to be back home before midnight?"

"trust me bro" he whispered as we walked into the elevator.

I mentally prepared myself to see my dad and be present at the hour long meetings.

"good morning son" my dad greeted as i entered his office

"morning" i sat down in front of him.

He was signing some certificates. Drug certificates to be precise. My dad's business man persona was just a facade for his drug business.
