The Whispers of Heart

Chapter 9

It was 31st of December Diya and Yara were busy selecting the flavor of cake to be ordered, and in the other side Viyaan and Dhruv were taking care of party arrangements now you might think it's for new year celebration yes it's partially right but it's also our Adwaitha and Karishma's birthday. Adwaitha's birthday is on the 1st of January and Karishma's in on the 2nd of January, they always celebrated both their birthdays together.

(An: even my birthday is on the 1st of January Adhwi and I are birthday twins hehe)

"What about blueberry? "

"Nobody likes that except you Dhruv and Adhwi will spit it right on your face if you order that flavor" Diya said giving a light smack on Yara's head

"Then what else can we order? " Yara asked rubbing her head

"Blackforest? "

"Nahh we just got that for Viyaan's birthday 2 weeks ago. Diya better let me text Adhwi and karishma and ask them what flavor they want" Yara said sighing.

Dhruv who just came there heard this and tried to throw a smiley sponge ball at Yara's head but it hit Diya's head instead catching their attention. The girls turned to see Dhruv standing with a sheepish smile. Before Diya could taunt him he started scolding Yara

"Yara you go to hell with that idea of yours. Seriously if there is an award titled the best surprise spoiler you will be the only one eligible for it " Dhruv said sulking

"Ohh hello then what else do you want me to do? Whatever flavor I say she is just rejecting all of them" Yara replied being offended. Dhruv looked at Diya raising his eyebrows

"The flavors she suggested were blueberry, blackcurrant and raspberry" Diya said with a smirk as she knows how much Dhruv and Adhwaitha hate those flavors. Dhruv's face disgusted thinking about the taste of those flavors

"Ewww Yara you have a worst taste like seriously how on earth do like those flavors they are bitter like hell"

"My taste is better than yours Mr. Dhruv"

With that they started fighting throwing things at each other, a paperweight suddenly hit Diya on her head she also couldn't help but join their fight. Hearing the noises Adharsh and Viyaan rushed upstairs only to find them fight like 5 year olds. They tried to stop the fight but all in vain.

Krishav and Rohan entered being unaware of the commotion going on. Krishav was welcomed with a water bottle being thrown right on his face

"What the fuck" Krishav whined rubbing his nose. Rohan was startled seeing the scene going on in front of his eyes

"Viyaan what the hell is going on here ?
why are they fighting as if they are in a war? " Rohan asked covering his face being scared of the probability of him receiving the same smack which Krishav received

"I don't know Rohan, Adharsh and I were downstairs waiting for you two we suddenly heard some noise so we came up only to witness this"

"You stupids stop fighting now" Krishav shouted being irritated he finally managed to gain their attention

"what is happening here and why were you three fighting?" Rohan asked them with a baffled expression. Yara explained him the context of their fight making the boys slap their foreheads.

"Heyy Krishav why is your nose red did someone beat you or something? " Yara asked him noticing his grumpy face

"It's all because of that water bottle which you threw right at my face instead of that idiot Dhruv's face" Krishav replied glaring at her, she smiled sheepishly at him

"Sowwieee Krish I didn't know you were there" She said making a puppy face to which he just gave her a side eye.

"Ok now what flavor cake should I order? It's getting late if we don't place the order within today we can't get the cake, it's not like some normal day where we can go the shop and can get a cake immediately it's new year cakes will be on demand" Diya said while thinking of flavors which they haven't tried yet

"Truffle"

Everyone turned towards the voice which was none other than Rohan

"Huhh? "

"Truffle will be a good choice" Rohan replied clearing his throat sensing all eyes were on him

"Heyy he's right truffle is bunny's favorite flavor we completely forgot that"  Adharsh replied with a smile

"How do you know that it's Adhwi's favorite? " Viyaan asked raising his eyebrows

"Umm.. I just thought it'll be good" Rohan replied scratching the back of his neck

They didn't probe more and focused on the preparation. 4 hours passed in a giffy they were all busy with decorations and getting gifts for the birthday girls, they had planned for 2 cake cutting one on Adhwi's birthday and another on karishma's birthday usually they used to have one party  where they used to cut the cake in evening and stay up till midnight for Karishma's  birthday this year they broke their usual pattern and planed for 2 parties back to back.

It was 11pm when they finally finished all their decorations. Karishma was well aware of the surprise as Yara the best surprise spoiler unintentionally disclosed the surprise to Karishma. Karishma couldn't help but chuckle when Yara realized that she blurted out the truth

All of them including Karishma assembled at Adwaitha's house. They already explained their plan to their parents, their parents made sure Karishma and Adwaitha were unaware of their surprise but Yara being Yara disclosed it to Karishma.

Adharsh knocked the main door of the house, Adwaitha's mom opened the door slowly letting them in. Yara ran to her favorite aunt and hugged her as she met her after a long time

"Auntyyyy how are you"

"I'm fine kanna how are you all doing" She asked with a smile

"All good aunty" They replied in chorus

Adharsh saw Ashwin going towards his room while glaring at them, Ashwin didn't even speak a word and went away as he was well aware that if he tells anything the boys will not stay quite. Krishav was completely unaware about Adwaitha's relationship with Ashwin

"Viyaan that's Ashwin right? " Rohan asked clenching his fist

"Yes" Viyaan replied throwing daggers at Ashwin

"Guyss let's not spoil our moods now it's Adhwi's birthday let's focus on it" Diya said sensing the tension between them. They all agreed and informed Adwaitha's mom that they would take her to Adharsh's house and will return only in the morning.

It was finally time to go wake Adwaitha. Karishma being the clever one suggested Rohan to go wake her up making up some excuses. Rohan agreed and proceeded towards Adwaitha's bedroom.
