Chapter 2 First day

We finally arrived at the school, the school was very big and nice. Everyone got off the bus and Emma helped us with our suitcases, my host family was waiting in the parking lot with their white Audi. I pulled my bag behind me and waved,

I said hello to everyone and we hugged, it was Ethan (my host dad) Lucy (my host mom) and Ryan my (host brother)

E: "We can take your bag, we'll come when you're done then?"

N: "Yes of course, thank you!". I waved goodbye and went back to Hannah.

E: "Okay now we can start going in, follow me". Everyone followed Emma into our classroom, it was big with lots of benches, everyone sat down on a bench.

E:"We won't have any lessons today but we will play different name games. We played different fun games until it was time for lunch, we went to the dining hall and it was packed with people. We ate and it was a salad buffet , we sat down with William and a girl named Rose.

W: "Hello"

"Hi" Hannah and I said in unison.

R: "Hello, my name is Rose, nice to meet you!"

N: "Hello, my name is Nalia"

H: "Nice, my name is Hannah". Everyone started eating and it was very good, after lunch Lucy waited in the parking lot. I waved goodbye to Hannah, William and Rose and headed for the parking lot. Lucy was in the car, i jumped into the front seat,

Hello we both said and hugged,

L: "Shall we drive?".

N: "Yeah". Lucy was driving while we were talking.

L: "How was the first day of school and in New York?"

N: "New York was really nice, today we played some games and had lunch, so we didn't have much time"

L: "What fun!, do you want to know something?"

Well!"

L: "We have a cat"

N: "Are you kidding me? I love cats, what's it called?"

L: "Yes its very cute, its name is Lea"

N: "How fun, I can't wait to meet her!"

Their house was about 20 minutes away so it was very close, when we got there we jumped out of the car. The house was big and white with many big windows, Lucy opened the door and I went inside.

N:"Where are Ethan and Ryan?"

L: "Ethan is at work and Ryan is still at school"

N: "Aha okay". Right inside sat a small black spotted kitten, I squatted down and petted it. It was soft as a cloud,

N: "God how cute!"

L: "Yes, right! When you entered the door, the living room and the kitchen were together,

N: "Wow, this room is very nice"

L: "Thank you, here is your room". Lucy opened a door and it was a rather large room, with a large white bed, gray carpet, a wardrobe and a desk.

N: "oh how nice!"

L: "Thanks, I've unpacked your stuff and put it in your closet"

N: "It wasn't necessary, but thank you so much!"

L: "You can sit down and rest, I'll start with the food. There will be tacos.

N: "Okay, how good!" Lucy closed the door and I lay down in my bed, suddenly there was a knock on the door. It was Lea who wanted in, I let her in and put her in my bed. I laid down next to her and petted her, I turned on the TV and watched a movie. When the movie was over, Lucy shouted that the food was ready, I went out to the kitchen and Ethan and Ryan were there

R: "Hello Nalia"

N: "Hey, hey Ethan"

E: "Hello"

L: "You can start taking for yourself". Everyone began to settle and sat down and began to eat.

E: "So Nalia, tell me about yourself"

N: "yes, I live with my mom, brother Oliver and my sister Sophia. Mom and dad are divorced, we also have a summer house in Italy.

L: "sad that your parents are divorced but cozy with a summer house in Italy, how long have you had it?"

N: "For a year and a half, but we weren't there this summer because Oliver is moving to an apartment.

E: "Yeah cool, how old is he?"

N: "He is 18 years old"

E: "A year older than me then?"

N: "Yes exactly". After everyone had eaten and we had talked for a while, I went into my room, Lea was still there. While I was petting her William sent something, I opened his snap and he had wet hair,

"Have you showered or haha?" I wrote

W: "Yepp, Where do you live?

N: "I live at 9 Cart Path LN in Lexington, you?

W:" Huh! I live at 14 Cart Path LN!"

N: "Apparently we are neighbors"

W: "Yes, haha". I turned off my mobile and put on my white pyjamas, Lea wasn't in my room anymore. So I went looking for her in the house, I looked upstairs and downstairs. Finally I found her under the sofa, I picked her up in my arms and carried her into my room. I put her to bed and lay next to her, I texted Ethan and Lucy that I was going to sleep. They came into my room and turned off the light, said good night and closed the door. I quickly fell asleep with Lea in my arms.
