Chapter 3 cheerleading (Wed)

I woke up to Lea licking my feet, it was tickling. I got up and took Lea in my arms, everyone had already gone to work or school. I went to the kitchen and took out a bowl, cereal and milk, I poured the cereal into the bowl and then the milk. I held the bowl in one hand and Lea in the other, I put the bowl on my desk and Lea on the bed. I sat down and ate while I put on my make-up and straighten my hair, when I was done with my make-up I brushed my teeth and took out a pair of black low-waisted jeans and a dark blue T-shirt. I put it on and walked towards the door, Lea followed me all the way to the door until I had to leave.

I patted her and kissed her, I locked the door with the key and went towards the bus station which was right outside the house. Holding my computer in one hand and the keys in the other, I stood waiting for the bus for about 5 minutes. It finally arrived and it was quite full, I got on the bus and saw William. I sat down next to him,

W: "Hello, how are you?"

N: "I'm fine thanks, how about you?"

W: "That's good, are you ready for the first real day of school?"

N: "Well, pretty much, I'd rather have permission"

W: "Yes, I understand". After 20 minutes we arrived, there were quite a few people standing outside. Me and William got out of the bus and started walking towards our classroom, Rose and Hannah stood outside waiting.

We said hello and hugged,

H: "How was it with your host families?"

N: "That's great, they have a cat!"

W: "I've had a good time with it, but do you know where the sickest part is?"

R: "No what?"

W: "Nalia and I live next door"

H: "Huh? Didn't you know it was brought yesterday?"

N: "No! Very strange". The door opened to the classroom and everyone entered and sat down, our first lesson was math. We started with a math game, it was quite boring. After the math we went to our chemistry classroom, the room was big with lots of different chemistry things. We went through all the things that we were going to do this school year, there were a lot of things that we were going to do.

After chemistry, it was lunch, me, Hannah and Rose went to the dining room, there weren't as many as yesterday but still many. We took food and it was hot dogs with potatoes, we sat down at a round table at the far end of the dining room. We started eating and it was pretty good, we talked about their dorms and my host family. During the break we played cards, I won once and the others three times each.

It was one o'clock and it was time for English, we had Emma who was in New York with us. We ran a reading comprehension test for Emma to see what we could do, it was quite simple. When English was over, me and Rose went to our cheerleading practice, I had been in cheerleading at home and wanted to continue with this too.

Our cheerleading practice was in the school's gymnasium. We got each apparel by our leader Emilia, which we have to wear at every training session. At training, we got to know each other and started a show that we were going to do at the last American football game for this school year. The demonstration itself was quite difficult and I felt that I might need to practice it at home as well. When the training was finished, we changed and showered because it would be the first American football game for this semester and I was very excited. We went out to the field and there were a lot of people there, we sat on a bench in the stands. The match was started and they started playing, everyone clapped and shouted. When the match was over, our school won 4-2, I went to the parking lot where Ryan was waiting with the car. I hugged Rose goodbye and I jumped into the car,

R: "Hi, how was it?"

N: "It went well, at training we learned a new choreography and our school won the match with 4-2"

R: "What fun!". Ryan drove home and it was very dark outside, when we arrived Lucy had fixed me a late dinner. It was meat and wedged potatoes, it was so good. I put the plate away and went to my room, I put my cheerleading outfit in my training bag.

I changed into my pink silk pajamas and went to bed. I wrote to Lucy and Ethan that I was going to sleep, they came in with Lea in their arms and laid her next to me. They turned off the light and said good night.
