Chapter 12 Shopping (Thursday)

I woke up to a clatter in the kitchen, I got up and went out into the kitchen.

L: "Hey did you sleep well?"

N: "Yes great, have you?"

L: "Yeah good"

N: "What are you cooking?"

L: "Bacon and Eggs"

N: "Good, I'll just go and fix the body"

L: "Do it, I'll let you know when it's ready"

N: "Yes".  I went into his bathroom and washed my face, I took his comb that was on the sink.  I combed my hair and put it up in a high bun, I put on my yoga pants that I wore yesterday.  I had completely forgotten to pack extra clothes, I went out to Lucas' closet and saw a gray sweater.

N: "Can I borrow this?"

L: "Yes of course, you can borrow whatever you want"

N: "Thank you".  I took the shirt and went into the bathroom, I took off the shirt I was allowed to borrow and put it in his laundry basket.  I washed my armpits because I forgot the deo.  I put on the thick sweater and it was very warm and nice, just then Lucas shouts that breakfast is ready.  I went out to the kitchen and the food was on two plates, we sat down and started eating.

N: "Do you like to cook?"

L: "Yes, I think it's very funny actually"

N: "Yeah, fun. You're really good at it"

L: "Huh, thank you very much".  We ate and went to the front door, we put on our outer clothes and I took my backpack with me.  We went out and Lucas locked, we went down all the stairs and started walking, suddenly I felt something against my hand.  It was Lucas's hand, I took his hand and smiled.  My whole body was filled with joy, after about 5 minutes we were there.  We stopped outside the school and talked,

N: "What lesson do you have now?"

L: "I think I have Chemistry, what do you have?"

N: "Actually I don't know, but it was great that we could see each other. We hear each other, yes we do," he said and we kissed. I walked towards our classroom and Hannah, Rose and William were standing outside waiting.

"Hello" everyone said, and I said hello back

R: "How was it with Lucas?".  I looked at William and he seemed completely unconcerned that I was with Lucas, otherwise he would probably have been sad but he wasn't.

N: "Ehh that was good"

H: "What did you do?"

N: "We watched movies and ate mostly, but he just asked if I want to go to prom with him"

Everyone was very happy for me,

N: "Do the rest of you have someone to go with?"

W: "I'm actually going with Emily, she said yes"

"What fun" said everyone very happily.

R: "I actually don't know who to go with"

H: "Me neither"

W: "But you don't have to go with anyone
N: "No it's true".  Just then the door opens and we will have a picture, we continued with our projects that we had been working on for a while now.  After the picture, we had sports, we went towards the sports hall and changed.  We had volleyball and it was fun, after the volleyball we went to change and shower.  We went towards lunch and it was Tex-Mex soup, it was very good.  After we had eaten, we sat down with William's friends and everyone played cards.  I looked around the dining room and saw Lucas sitting and smiling at me, I smiled back and tried to play at the same time.  The bell rang and we had chemistry, we went to class and sat in our seats.  When the chemistry was over, I went to the bus, I was so excited for tomorrow because it was prom.  I jumped on the bus and sat at the back, after a while the bus came to the front.  I jumped off and went in, "Hey" I called.

E: "Hello"

N: "Ethan can we go get the dress soon?"

E: "Sure we can go now if you want,"

N: "Yes, I'd love to".  Ethan put on his outerwear clothes and we got in the car.  We started driving and the store was very close to us.  When we got there, we jumped out of the car and went into the store, it was big with lots of dresses.  We approached the cashier and said we had bought a dress that we would like to try on, the cashier went behind the warehouse and gave us the dress.  I took it and went to the dressing room, I changed and put it on.  It was so nice, I went out of the dressing room and showed Ethan,

E: "Wow, that one was really nice"

N: "Yes, thank you, I'm very satisfied".  I went back to the dressing room and changed into my normal clothes.  I took my dress and went out,

E: "Do you like it?"

N: "Yes very much, it will be".  We approached the cashier again and asked for a bag, since we had already paid on the website we only needed one bag.  The cashier put the dress in the bag and gave the bag to us, we went out to the car and jumped in.  We started to go home, after about fifteen minutes we arrived.  We jumped out of the car and Ethan took the bag, we went inside and I took the bag to my room.  I went out into the kitchen again,

N: "What are we having for dinner?"

E: "Thought a chicken stew?"

N: "Yes, good, shall I help?"

E: "Yes, of course that would be very nice".  We started cooking and just as the food was ready Lucy and Ryan arrived.  I set the table and we sat down and began to eat,

L: "How are you thinking about tomorrow then?"

N: "I'll be there at 6 p.m. because then it's dinner, then there's a ball until 8 p.m. and then I'm going home"

L: "You would go with Lukas, right?"

N: "Yes exactly"

L: "Will you meet there then?"

N: "Yeah"

E: "I can drive you there tomorrow and pick you up if you want"

N: "Thank you so much".  We all ate and it was so late that I was going to sleep, I put away and then I went into my room and changed into my black pyjamas.  I looked for Lea and put her next to me in bed, I turned off the light and said good night.  I closed my eyes and tried to sleep, but it was kind of impossible.  I was so excited for tomorrow.  But finally I fell asleep.
