At eight in the morning on a sweltering August day, Trixie, Jade and Blur all woke up in the most randomest of places after going on a night out together in London.

Damon and Trix in a random forty year olds house. Jade in Alex James' flat but without said bassist, who unknowingly slept on the stairwell of the apartment block mere metres away. Graham under a tree in Finsbury Park, and Dave in Manchester.

Jade and Trix had been complaining to each other over the phone that they were long overdue a girls night out, when Damon came home from seeing his Mum and overheard the conversation. By overhearing, I mean picking up the other landline in Trix's chaotic bedroom - it was a frog phone might I add - and butting his way into their call, suggesting to Jade mainly, that she should come out with them that night. He'd told her that 'the boys from the band' were coming and that he wanted some 'proper company' - knowing that his smooth talking always made her agreeable. Trixie groaned into the line, telling them to 'shut up' as they gossiped about her, this mainly consisting of Jade asking how good she was in bed and Damon being more than happy to answer.

After they'd arranged what they were doing later that night, Trix walked into her bedroom with her hands on her hips, scowling unimpressed at her boyfriend who laid himself teasingly across the bed,
"And what's got your knickers in a twist?"
"You." She said as if it was obvious, and frankly it was,
"Stop gossiping with Jade. She's my friend not yours."

Damon bit his lip at how much she was subconsciously pouting, frowning at him with her big doe eyes like some kind of kicked puppy,
"You're just jealous she phones to talk to me and not you."

This was partially true, Jade did sometimes call to speak to Damon, but that was only because they were organising her twenty fourth birthday in a weeks time - but Trix didn't need to know the reason why.

"And if I was jealous?"
"Then I'd be seriously turned on right now."

Trixie couldn't help the smile that broke out across her face as she picked up her nearby pillow and pummelled him with it, secretly hoping that it'd start a pillow fight between them (hopefully one where they ended up ripping each others clothes off).

Unfortunately Damon had different plans, as he caught the pillow after a few hits and tugged her into him, causing her to yell and huff as she fell on top of him.

Everyone met up around the corner from the bar - which was practically a club - passing a bottle of vino between them and dishing out the magic mushrooms that Jade had bought. This was her first time meeting the band properly and she had decided that recreational Class A drugs was the way to make an impression - and she may have been right.

She'd immediately taken a liking to Graham, loving his silly voice impressions and his ability to down the bottle of wine without any care for the others. Dave simply seemed like a decent lad and she'd heard too much about Alex to not have any preconceptions about him.
