Rayquaza stared curiously at the news helicopter hovering a good distance away from him. It wasn’t doing much else other than staring at him, perhaps it was simply observing him? He could slightly sense the fear the humans inside held. Rayquaza turned away from the chopper with an amused rumble, as long as they didn’t invade his personal space they would be fine. His mind then drifted off to the situation he found himself in. Rayquaza has long since accepted the fact that this world was not his own, that much he can believe. There were many signs pointing to that direction. The change in land and ocean that most definitely was not made by either Groudon or Kyogre was a prominent piece of evidence, those two can barely agree on where to raise a small island. There was also the complete lack of any sort of connection with Arceus, his creator, and the Chosen One. Rayquaza has tried calling to Arceus many times, but They never responded, and the Chosen One was completely absent from this world, so it was no use trying to seek him out.

He wasn’t unfamiliar with the concept of alternate universes, after all, Lord’s Palkia and Dialga can create new realities and timelines if they so wished. Not only that, but the Alola region itself was prone to having random bouts of strange portals appearing which led to other worlds.

The one thing Rayquaza can’t figure out, however, is how he got here? His memory had proved fruitless as he couldn’t remember the events that led to him being transported here. All he remembers is flying through the skies before being blinded by a bright flash of light followed by darkness. Rayquaza assumes he may have been over Alola at the time, but he isn’t sure.

Another thing he noticed was the change in his biology. He was noticeably larger than he remembers himself being. His long, serpentine body which was previously connected together by four segments was now connected together by sixteen, increasing his length to a great 362 feet. A monstrous change from his previous 82 feet. Rayquaza assumed that the drastic change was this world’s way of accommodating his presence.

Rayquaza looked up at the sky and frowned. One thing that didn’t sit well with him was that there was an unhealthy amount of pollution in this world's air. It would seem the humans of this world got a little carried away in their endeavor for progress, and as a result, they were hurting the planet. No matter, Rayquaza thought, he would help slow the damage, even if he wouldn’t be as effective as Ms. Shaymin. He wasn’t foolish nor arrogant enough to think that he alone would be able to save the planet, no, no, that decision belongs to the humans. Rayquaza can show them the way and guide them down the golden path, but it was up to them if they wanted to follow. Slowly uncurling himself from around the mountain so as to not damage it, Rayquaza ascending back up into the clouds to begin his mission.

Emma Russell replayed the recent news footage of Monster One once again, a mixture of fascination and frustration etched on to her face. The urge to spend the rest of her day examining this footage and the transport footage was almost too good to pass up. But no, that would be reserved for a later date, as of right now, she needs to finish her work on the Orca and implement Monster One’s new bioacoustics.

“I trust you will still be able to finish on time?” her colleague for her future operation asked through her phone.

“Yes,” Emma said with a nod, “It’s an… unexpected development, but I can finish this on time.”

“Good. We’ll be waiting.”

The person on the other end hung up, and Emma put her phone in her pocket. There was still work to do.

Godzilla bellowed lowly as he sensed a new presence making its way across the planet at great speeds. He narrowed his eyes, had Rodan woken up? No, Godzilla would’ve known, Rodan isn’t exactly the type to awaken quietly. Then who could it be? It couldn’t be Mothra, she hasn’t hatched from her egg yet, and all the other Titans are still asleep. Then could it be-

Godzilla’s heart bumped in his chest as his mind drifted off to him. The Golden One. Godzilla shook his head, no, that bastard is still encased in his icy prison. But, if that was the case, then who was this stranger? Had they come here to cause destruction like him? Godzilla growled and began leaving his underwater home, whatever their goals may be on this planet, Godzilla would show them who’s King, and if they don’t bow, then Godzilla will be their executioner.
