"SO, ARE YOU going to tell us who this mystery summer fling is?" Dahlia Quinn asked her best friend, Arabella Andrews as the two, along with their other best friend Midge Klump, sat in a booth at a local diner called Pops, that Ara herself worked at, but was off tonight.
"Why must you keep nagging me about him, Lia?" Ara asked with a frown as she sipped on her banana milkshake, "Because, it is my right as your best friend, along with Midge, to know who has been dragging you away all summer! Plus, this mystery dude would be your first boyfriend!" Lia explained as Midge laughed, "Okay, first off, he is not my boyfriend, and second off, it's not that serious. We both agreed to keep it on the down low for just this summer, because we were bored and that's it. If I actually get a boyfriend you and Midge will be the first to know. I promise."
"Mhm, we better." Lia said as she eyed the redhead, "And does your brother know about this little fling?" Midge asked reaching over to steal some fries from her redheaded friend, "No! And he and my dad can never find out!" Ara whisper yelled as she leaned over towards the two girls across from her, but before one of the girls could answer Ara' phone dinged, signalling someone had texted the girl.
"And who might that be? The mystery fling?" Lia asked with a small smirk as her and Midge gave each other looks, "Um, I gotta go, see you tomorrow at school?" Ara asked ignoring Lia's questions while getting up collecting her belongings, "Ugh, don't remind me, another year of prison." Lia cried dramatically softly banging her head on the table causing her two friends to laugh at her, "Calm down L, we'll see you later Ara." Midge smiled before Arabella walked off and out the door.
Once out of the chocolate shop, Ara looked back down at her phone to see her texts,
Meet me at our place? Xx
Be there in a sec. Xx

"Guess what I got?" Reggie Mantle asked as he pulled away from kissing Arabella, the two were sat in Reggies car that was parked out in the woods where they wouldn't be caught, "What?" Ara asked slightly panting. Pulling out two sticks of jingle jangle from his pocket, Reggie smirked.
"Wanna try it?" He asked as his other hand gripped her thigh that had been exposed because of her pink mini pleated skirt, "I don't know Reg, can't you get addicted? And plus, if my dad or my brother ever fount out-" Ara stressed as she looked at Reggie with concern in her eyes,
"Relax, baby. I won't tell, and anyways it's just a one time thing, you don't always have to be a goody two-shoes." He smirked, "But, we have school tomorrow!" She worried looking down as she fiddled with her white sweat shirt, grabbing her face and turning her head up Reggie said; "It's fine, babe, it'll only last right now, then you'll have all night to sleep it out."
"Ok...fine, but my dad can never find out, 'k Reg?" Ara asked seriously as she pointed her pale fingers to the boy, "Won't tell a soul." He said before handing her a stick and together they open it and took it, "Now, where were we?" Reggie asked with a smirk before lightly pushing Ara to the backseat of his Chevelle.

"Ugh, I can't believe you're making me late on the first day of school, Arch!" Ara groaned as she waited by the steps for her twin brother to walk to school together, "Shut up Ara." He said sarcastically, huffing as he walked down the stairs with a small grin, one his sister matched.
