THIRD PERSON POV

"How could you?! I gave you everything!" Ethan broke down into tears, his anger and sadness consuming him.

Ethan Saw was an average guy. He was 5'8", but he liked to say 5'9". His hair fell everywhere in dark brown curls, sometimes covering his light blue eyes. His skin was a golden brown, complimented with a skinny yet muscular figure.

Why is Ethan breaking down you might ask? His boyfriend of 4 years has been cheating on him, and he just now found out after a year since it happened.

"What happened to 'I will always love you'?! Was that some empty promise you tell everyone?!" Ethan sobbed, throwing anything he could at Marcus.

Marcus Long was your typical Jock. He was the school's star quarterback, nobody dared to get on his bad side. Girls wanted him, and boys wanted to be him. He had been with Ethan ever since freshman year, only to cheat on him with Alexa Smith, the cheer captain, during the summer of junior year.

Marcus sat on his bed, annoyed at Ethan's tantrum. He thought that it wasn't a big deal, and that it was going to happen sooner or later.

"Calm down Ethan! Nobody wants to fucking hear your bitching!" Marcus rolled his eyes, catching anything Ethan threw at him.

"Was I not enough?! I've loved you for 4 fucking years, and this is how it ends?! Fuck you Marcus Long!" Ethan yelled. He then stormed out of Marcus's house, crying on the walk home.

"I swear I'll never love again. Everybody is just going to be just like him." Ethan spoke to himself as he walked. He didn't live far away- thank god -from Marcus' house, so it didn't take him long to reach his own house.

He wiped his tears once he saw his mother's car in the driveway, and walked into the house with a smile.

Ethan was always close with his mother. She worked so hard for him, after his father passed away when he was 5. But that was 13 years ago, and Ethan learned to live without a father figure.

"How'd it go honey? Is everything alright?" Ethane's mother spoke softly, in that one voice only a mother could speak in. Ethan told her about confronting Marcus, and she supported him in every single step.

"I gave him everything! And he repays me by cheating on me with Alexa Fucking Smith! Was I not enough?!" Ethan began crying again as he hugged his mother tightly. His mother began rubbing soothing circles on his back and whispering comforting words into his ear.

"It's alright Ethan. Momma's here. You're so much more than enough, it's Marcus' loss for cheating."

"I swear Momma. I'm never loving again. They'll all end up the same as Marcus." Ethan cried for a few more minutes, before eventually walking up to his room and crying more in his bed.
