UKIYO STOOD AT THE FRONT OF THE DOOR, as she was stuck in deep thought. Ego had (actually forced) her to play the Bluelock project, to see the potential of the football players, as their dreams to become strickers and so much more. What was her dream? Well, it's simple really. To become the best of the best.
Honestly no...
Ego had already knew that she was beyond the best, her absolute potential as she won solo against the top five a few years ago. She didn't even care that she won against them, she wasn't looking for victory or to become the best striker in the world. In her opinion, she already was.
There was nothing left for her in life she stopped playing football altogether, lived a quiet and almost normal life. Sometimes she would still train herself so she wouldn't lose her skills.
For some reason ego would have her training constantly, after her final days in playing football ukiyo thought it was enough. She wanted to stay away from a ball as much as possible, she never really had much excitement when playing against people. Only when she was younger.
Though people throughout the world recognized her face and name, she was the most skilled football player there was. But there was only one problem, no one had realized that she was a girl.
Her appearance was mistaken by many as a boy, she was quite and always on the side watching her surroundings and each Players movements abd thoughts in the game.
Though, she didn't mind one bit. She hated being in the center, so she stopped showing off her skills altogether. In order to not be in the center you'd have to avoid the spotlight at all times.
"You ready Uki?" Ego asked, his cold voice and blank stare was enough for Ukiyo to only nodd her head in response, not even bothering to spare a glance at him. That was their way of showing love and respect to a child and their guardian.
"I guess..." Even though Ukiyo said in a low whisper, not expecting for ego to hear.
As the male watched Ukiyo walk away, drained and dead inside thought whatever that made her feel that way was slowly eating at her. And it seems like she couldn't take it.
