Chapter 9-'Past'

Tanzu was not in his senses but the moment Ashi said it's her he said,"You,Ashi?I am sorry Ashi"Ashi was surprised because out of nowhere he was apologising because he is a tough guy and him apologising someone isn't a small thing.She repeated what he said with a question mark on her face,"Sorry?"

Tanzu still being in a drunk state almost on the verge of crying continued,"I blamed you that day even though it was not your fault.Its just that I have some issues with girls.First my mom cheated on me and my family.She ran away with her lover and betrayed my dad,me and Unnati.She hurted us.After few years my best friend Riya cheated on me.I was a singer and so was her boyfriend,but one day his voice was not well and he had to perform on the stage.To win the competition she tricked me to sing and recorded the whole song and played that same tape in the same competition for which I was going to perform and with the same song.That competition was the only thing that was going to give me a name,a popularity.But she betrayed me and I lost all my respect for her that day.I broke friendship with her.Now I dont trust any girl except Unnati.That's why I shouted on you.And in all of this I even lost my guy bestfriend,which was a killed by a Riya's boyfriend because he was a gangster.He shot my bestfriend.He led me to...."And before he could say further he was stopped by Unns,she was sobbing very hard because after so long Tanzu spoke his heart out but before he could reveal a big bombshell in front of Ashi she went towards him and cut him off."Tanzuuu,are you fine??Ashi thank you so much,are you fine?""Yes Unnati but is he fine?He was about to say something but..."says Ashi still puzzled and finding out what the situation is and looking at Unns and she could see some fear in her eyes."No he is just drunk,but whatever he said was not wrong"says Unnati."Oh God I feel sad for him,for the first time he spoke his heart out and I feel so sad for him"exclaimed Ashi.

Before Ashi could ask Unnati more questions she said,"Ashi I need to leave now!Can you please help me?And even call Manav please."Ashi wanted to hear the whole situation but at least not in this state.She wanted Tanzu to confide in her and reveal himself the whole situation only if he thinks so,she says,"Yes yes wait I will call Manav."She calls Manav and asks him to speed up and meet him at the gate.Manav sees and was about to ask the question when saw Unnati almost tearing up.He stops and thinks of asking her the other day.They make Tanzu sit properly and Unns sits in the driver's place and she knows how to drive the car.Later..
