Angel's eyes immediately opened once she heard her iPhone vibrate on the nightstand next to her. Reaching over, she grabbed her phone, smiling at the contact name: J-Bae with a heart.

My man, my man, my man.

The woman looked down to see if she was in the clear to answer the risky call, furrowing her eyebrows when she seen Xen laying on her. His face was stuffed in the crease of her neck, muscular arms wrapped around her waist, which trapped her in place, soft snores escaping his mouth that hung slightly agape. His dreads slightly covered the side of his face, tickling her neck.

Angel hated how Xen slept.

The male wasn't a wild sleeper, but he always found a way to cling to her during the night. The one thing she disliked the most: Xen's clinginess. Whether it was holding her shirt, placing his leg over hers, he needed to touch her in some type of way. If he were close enough, he would sneak kisses onto whatever skin he was nearby in the middle of the night; arm, neck, shoulder, stomach.

She hated when he clung to her during the night because she always ended up hot and sweaty the next morning due to the extra body heat. He knew not to cling to her while they were awake because of her dislike to physical touch, so he somehow did it in his sleep. It's like his body knew he wanted to be near her.

Now half of his body was on her.

Deciding to not pick up the FaceTime call with Xen being in view of the camera, Angel declined the call and sighed in annoyance. Why did he have to be up under her all the time?

Her phone vibrated four times in a row.

J-Bae ♥️
Answer the phone.
Why you decline my call?
Bet.
Youn gotta worry bout me no more.

Wanting to talk to whoever J-Bae was, she gently slid out of his hold and pushed his body over, resulting in him facing the wall instead of her. Turning her back to him, she began texting as she said to herself before...her man, her man, her man.
