(I have to say this because the internet is a scary place. This is not a ship and should not be taken as anything other than platonic. This story is about a father and a son, nothing more, nothing else.)

It was late Into the Night, there was light rain with some thunder but that sound wasn't as scary as the sounds from inside the house. Yellow Sat by the door and covered his mouth as tears streamed down his face. His hair was done into pigtails with two red bows and he was wearing a dress with embroidered flowers. He could hear the sounds of items crashing together and people screaming in pain and running around. Yellow knew what his father was doing but struggled to accept that reality.

Yellow felt humiliated not because he was in a dress but because when he went to sleep he was wearing overalls. Meaning that the weird family most likely saw him completely exposed.

(Tw: Graphic depiction of a decapitated head)

Before he could think about it even more a large item crashed out of the window. He crawled over to inspect the item but was shocked when he saw what it was. It was a head not just any head but Lily's head, completely ripped off from the body. Her face was still open as jagged teeth awkwardly stuck out from it but it was wider than before, she was screaming in terror before she died.

Yellow almost kicked the head away from him. He was terrorized by what he saw and scrambled on the floor backing away from it. Yellow didn't care about hiding his cry anymore he let it out and almost began to whale.

(Tw has ended)

A few minutes later the crashing stopped, the screaming had silenced, and all Yellow could hear was the sound of footsteps calmly walking out the door. Yellow tried to hide, ashamed of himself for letting his father see him this low. Roy walked out of the door, looked around, and noticed some blue hair sticking out beside a garbage can. Yellow looked up and saw Roy standing above him. He tried to back away but he accidentally stepped on his dress causing him to fall and lay on the ground, Yellow felt completely helpless and weak.

Roy looked at Yellow's failed attempt to get away but he didn't mind. He bent down and picked up Yellow, standing him up and crouching down to his eye level. Yellow tried to hold back tears, he couldn't talk because his mouth was so choked up. Just then Roy raised his hand high into the air. Yellow flinched embraced for impact thinking that Roy was going to slap him for being so pathetic but he was surprised when he felt a hand in his hair. Roy's hand was gentle as he slowly removed the bow from his hair and removed the second one, throwing it to the ground.

Roy ruffled Yellow's hair to adjust it and get it back to normal. Yellow was shocked. All this time he thought that Roy didn't care about him and just wanted the chicken and the family but maybe this was his weird way of protecting Yellow. Yellow felt himself being picked up by Roy and pulled into a tight hug. Yellow finally felt safe enough to let out all his tears and proceeded to cry. Roy held him close, gently patting his back letting him know it was all right to let it all out.

Yellow tried to apologize but his father shushed him. He shifted yellow in his arms to cradle the boy. This surprised Yellow, he couldn't remember the last time he was ever held like that. It was nice and comforting. It felt so warm that he snuggled closer to his father. Roy thought this was adorable as his instinct to protect Yellow changed from violent to wanting to see his son smile.

Yellow stomach began to rumble as he looked up at Roy with a sad expression. He was hungry, which made sense because he hadn't eaten in a day. Roy still had some meat and he pulled it out from his pocket. Yellow was a little confused by it but then he heard his father say "aw". He opened his mouth and let Roy's hand feed him the meat. When the meet was finished yellow still looked very stressed. Roy started to rock him back and forth.

Yellow liked the rocking. He can't remember the last time that kind of affection was given to him. He smiled as he started to close his eyes a little. Roy took notice of this and kept rocking him and started to hum a little. Eventually Yellow fell asleep with a little smile on his face snuggled against Roy. Roy walked him home. When Yellow woke up he found himself on the front doorstep of the Pink House.

(Hello everyone. Consider this a formal apology for not posting for a while. You guys deserve content and I have other short stories for when my motivation for writing my main story dries up. And if this short story does well I might continue to add more.)
