❝ you think that it's funny when i'm mad, mad, mad. ❞

After picking up Maisie this morning, we headed to have a brunch together all four of us straight from the airport.

We then dropped Maisie off at her house so she'd get settled in and get some rest after the hectic morning she's had.

We spent the rest of the day, me, Pedri and Aya together. I didn't really have anything planned for the day so we just drove around from places to places, introducing Pedri to our country.

It's around four now and the office has decided it needs me. I love my work, but I kind of desired a free of work week.

However, I haven't yelled and put people in their places in such a long time, I'm not complaining. I dropped Aya at the house but kept Pedri with me.

If I leave him alone with any member of the family, I'm not quite sure how much alive he'd come out. He can walk behind me in the office like a body guard, it'll be fine.

I'm parking the car up in the building's private parking right now. "You know, I know you own two businesses. But you've actually never told me about this one." He says.

He's right, now that I think of it, I've never told him about this job. "It used to be my dad's — technically it still is." I start up, looking back making sure to park straight and safely before pulling the gearshift into park. "It's a shipping and logistics company."

I keep it short, not getting into too much details at this moment as we both unbuckle our seat belts.

"Basically everything we do is shipping, port operation, supply chain management and warehousing, not taking in the charity of the business, they do completely different things but we finance them." I explain just a little further as I turn back to grab the blazer Aya got me from the house along with my purse.

I place the blazer on Pedri for a second as I search for my make up bag in the purse. I open the sun visor and open up the mirror on it.

Once in hand, I take out my lipstick and reapply it for a darker shade of red. I fix my mascara too before placing the bag back into the purse.

I then grab the bag that contains a more appropriate skirt and a box with my heels that Aya also got me, and take the shoes out. I remove my previously worn shoes along with my jean skirt.

I can feel Pedri watching my every move as I get changed and am only in my underwear in the parking lot.

"Fuck, I love those underwear." His hand slides over but I slap it away immediately. It's time to work, not have sex in the parking space.

I replace the jean skirt with a black, more appropriate and formal one. "Not the moment, Pep." I tell him, as I put on the new, uncomfortable heels now.

The office is very strict about clothing. I am the reason why of course. Which is why I couldn't just walk in like I was. I'd like to be a good example.

Pedri's in shorts though, which usually we wouldn't accept in the building. But he's the bosses boyfriend, who's gonna say anything?

I take a pen out too, and use it as help to keep my hair up. "Now, remember. I was always mean and scary, anything you see is nothing new." I wink at the guy before snatching my blazer from him away and open the car's door.
