CHAPTER 1
London
The loud ringing of an alarm echoed throughout the apartment.
"Ruhi... wake up."
Sonakshi groaned as she buried her face deeper into her pillow.
"Your alarm is driving me crazy."
Ruhi pulled the blanket over her head.
"Sonaaa... please let me sleep. I slept very late last night."
"I don't need your life story. Tell your alarm to shut up."
"Then turn it off."
"Why should I?"
Before either of them could continue, another voice exploded from the other side of the room.
"SHUT UP!"
Both girls jumped.
Vishakha sat up on her bed, glaring at them.
"If neither of you can sleep, that's your problem. But why are you ruining my sleep too?"
Sonakshi crossed her arms.
"If you're so irritated, then turn it off yourself."
"Me?" Vishakha pointed at herself dramatically.
"No. I'm allergic to alarm clocks."
Ruhi rolled her eyes.
"Every morning you come up with a new stupid joke."
