Y/n is at a S.H.I.E.L.D headquarters waiting for Agent Coulson and his team to arrive. Since she got out of the red room,y/n thought she would never had to go on missions again but here she is. Actually she is quite happy that she can work in S.H.I.E.L.D because she would probably get bored in any other job. Suddenly y/n notices a woman approaching her. The woman introduces herself to y/n and it turnes out that she is the pilot and a field agent of Coulsons team called Melinda May. Agent May leads y/n to the "bus" the plane in which the team lives. The whole time Agent May stays silent and for y/n this turns into an akward silence but it looks like Agent May doesn't mind the silence. Once they arrive at the bus y/n sees four people waiting there for them. She knows only one and that is Coulson. He greets her and says "It's a shame we couldn't get you as an field agent but i suppose Fitzsimmons are happy to have another scientist with them" he points at the woman and the guy next to them. The girl gives y/n a handshakes and smiles while introducing herself as Jemma Simmons and the other guy as Leo Fitz. Then y/n gets pulled away by a girl not many years older than her probably 20 or 21 and she leads her into the plane. "Im Skye we're neighbours, well i meant your room is next to mine if you understand". Skye leads y/n to her room and then leaves her alone to unpack her things. The room isn't really a room but more a cabin, she has a closet, a bed and a Tv nothing more but y/n likes it because it's hers. Once she unpacked her things she goes to the lounge where Skye, Fitz and Simmons sits on a couch and play UNO. Y/n sits down next to them and just watches them in silence. "DO you also wanna play?" Simmons asks her, but y/n just shakes her head and answers with a forced face "No thanks i'll just watch". Then the plane takes off and Agent May gives them a warning through the speakers saying that they should buckle themself up, because it is stormy outside and there may be turbulence.
Three days pass by and y/n spent most of her time in the laboraty with Simmons and Fitz. She likes observing their chaotic relationship and how they always argue about little things. Like today Simmons started yelling at Fitz for putting her test tubes out of place for his new guns he invented. Sometimes y/n also stays with Agent May in the cockpit to watch the skye in silence. But right now she is with Skye beacuse her computer suddenly turned off and wont go on, so y/n helps her with it.
Suddenly the plane changes the direction and Coulson rushes through the lounge to the meeting room while ordering everyone to meet there. Once everyone arrived at the meeting room, Coulson explains that they got a hint to where Ward the guy that betrayed the team and actually was a Hydra Agent is is located. So of course he wants to try to catc him, Coulson made already a plan
He and May are going in first and then as backups are Skye and y/n. Y/n wants to protest since that would mean that she had to fight but Coulson is the boss so the decision is made. Once the meeting is over Skye storms out of the meeting room and goes to the cabin. After a minute or two she hear a knocking on the door, she opens it and its Fitz with a gently smile standing there.
