Literacy Class

Careful Little One

Months had gone by, and classes are still going well. Especially in Literacy class. Professor and I are getting closer every day, and he's been helping me with my book more than ever. I spent the entire day in my literacy class since Mr. Davis said he'd help me, and today was one of his office days. Mr. Davis was helping me with my book again. Everything was going well with the book, until we came to a part of the book that made things awkward and what Mr. Davis said next didn't make it any better. "How do you want the sex scene written?" It's like all time, just stopped, as soon as those words left his mouth. I should be more mature about this and be able to handle such a simple question since this is a mature romance that he's helping me with, but hearing him ask that just makes this all the more awkward for me.

"Alex... how do you want this written?" He whispered. My mind was turning in circles. I couldn't come up with a clear response to his question. My mind was solely on him and nothing else, not my book, not my class, just... him. "Uhm.." Was all that left my mouth. I couldn't say anything at that moment. "Can we uhm... come back to this part of the story later?" I questioned, trying to avoid it. Mr. Davis nodded at my words. "We can work on this more later if you'd like?" I nodded at him. "Yes, please." He nodded at my words. "That's fine, Alex." He said as he got up and walked over towards his desk.

"So, Ms. Williams, do you have any plans for the night?" Mr. Davis questioned from across the room as he was putting his stuff in his bag. "Miles is taking me out for a night on the town. He wants me to have some more fun since, apparently, as he claims, all I do is write for my book and spend time buried in books for college." He nodded at my words as he walked in front of my, grabbing hold of my hands. "Well, you should. You deserve to have a fun night with your friend." I nodded at his words with a smile on my face. "Yeah, I guess you're right. Would you like to join us for the night?" I asked, hopeful he'd accept my offer.

He looked a bit hesitant, almost nervous even. "I don't know, Ms. Williams." His voice even sounded hesitant. "Please?" I begged him. He smiled at me as he nodded, accepting my offer. "Okay, I'll join you." I smiled so widely at his words jumping up and down. I was so excited that I jumped into his arms, wrapping my arms around his neck. His arms automatically wrapped around me as he stood there. "Woah!" I looked at him, feeling a bit embarrassed as I realized the predicament we were in. "Sorry!" I apologized as I let go of him and stood back in front of him. "But I'm so glad that you'll be joining us tonight." I said with a smile on my face. "Me too, me too." I smiled at his words.

"I'll text you the time and place for where we'll be meeting at." I said with a smile on my face. He nodded at my words. I gave him a quick hug before heading out the door to my car and to my apartment. As soon as I made it through the door, Miles pulled me to the living room and asked how my day was and if anything happened between me and Mr. Davis. "Miles, before I answer anything, I'd like to get settled and change into some comfy clothes." Miles rolled his eyes at me. "Okay, fine! But please hurry, Alex. I want to hear about your day!" I nodded at his words and walked to my room and hopped straight into the shower. After I did everything I needed, I got changed into a comfy pair of clothes and walked to the living room where Miles was still waiting for me.

"So Alex, back to what I said before you went to your room, did anything happen between you two?" He questioned as I sat down beside him on the couch. "Nothing really happened, but I did invite him out with us." I said with a smile. Miles smiled at me. "If that's the case, then we definitely need a dress for you that'll just take his breath away!" Miles said as he got up and pulled me to my room and straight to my closet, looking over dresses. "Miles, really, this isn't necessary, man." Miles looked at me and dramatically gasped. "Alex!! This is necessary! We are going out! And you invited your teacher, a man who is very attractive nonetheless! You need something fierce!"
