~Andrew's POV~
I woke up the next morning looking around my bedroom. She was gone. The person I had slept with last night was gone. I can't remember who it was, but I'm probably guessing a person I don't know or will never see again. I sighed as I got up from my bed and got ready for my day. As I finished getting ready for my day, I tried thinking back to all the events of what happened last night. All I could seem to remember was dancing with Alex but nothing else. Maybe my memory will come back to me as the day goes forward. After I got everything I needed, I made myself a cup of coffee and headed to work. Today was going to be a long day.
As the day went on, all the classes went by at an extremely slow pace, and it felt like work was never going to end. As 3rd period came around, I decided to take a nap since I wasn't teaching a class until another hour and a half. I shut the lights off and locked my classroom door, then went to sit at my desk. I tried to go to sleep, but for the life of me, I couldn't seem to fall asleep. I just kept thinking back to last night. What happened last night?! What did I do!? Who did I sleep with!? Hell, was it even a female I slept with!? My memory was so shot. I couldn't remember anything that happened after I left the club. "What happened last night, think man, think." I mumbled to myself as I put my head in my hands.
I sighed and put my head down on my desk, eventually falling asleep. Later, I woke to the sound of knocking on my door. I sighed as I got up from my desk and walked over, unlocking the door and opening it for whoever was there. "Hey Davis!" I sighed. It was John McCain. He was another professor in the English department. And a close friend of mine from high school and college. "Hello McCain..." I mumbled as I let him inside the classroom. "You alright Andrew?" He questioned. I shook my head. "I've got a crazy headache." I sighed as I walked back to my desk and sat down, trying to think back to what happened. As I tried thinking back to last night, flashbacks popped into my mind.
~Flashback~
"Looking for me, Little One?" I said as I walked up behind Alex. She looked so stunning in her red dress and heels. The dress was tight and hugged her curves just right. And she looked so cute whenever she got embarrassed. The way her body reacted to my touch as I placed my hand on her back. She was irresistible.
~End of Flashback~
I was snapped out of my thoughts by John. "What happened to you?" He asked as he walked over towards me. "I went out last night and got drunk." John did a dramatic gasp, placing his hand on his chest. "And you didn't invite me?! I'm hurt!" He said as he wiped a fake tear from his eye. "Why did you go out anyway? Did I miss your birthday!? You're... 26, right?" I shook my head. "25, actually. And no, you didn't miss my birthday." He nodded at me. "I went out with some friends." He nodded. "If this becomes too much for you with your last class, just call me, and I'll handle your class for the rest of the day, and you can go home." I nodded. "Thanks, but I'll try to hold on for right now." John nodded at me. "Well, I'll see ya!" He said as he walked out of the classroom.
"Okay..." I mumbled as I waited for the class to arrive. After a few minutes, the class eventually arrived. I stood from my chair and walked in front of my desk as I looked at the small number of students in my class. "Hello, class, you guys have a project to do. I have sent very detailed and informative emails to each of you for what needs to be in the project as well as what I will be looking for and what I will be grading you guys on. This project is due in 4 weeks. You may get started." Once I sat back down, I noticed that Alex wasn't here. Her seat was empty. I grabbed my phone and texted Alex.
Hey, you're not in class. Where are you? Are you okay?
I waited, but she never responded. "I hope she's okay..." I mumbled to myself as I leaned back in my chair. Since there wasn't much for me to do since the students were working on their projects, and Alex wasn't responding, I decided to listen to my music. I closed my eyes as I leaned back in my chair further while listening to the song 'Sweater Weather'. As I listened to the song, I thought back again to last night.
