"Luke. Luke? LUKE?"

"What the hell do you want?" The blonde boy turns and asks his friend behind him.

"Come on we have to leave know if we want to skip class without the teachers finding out."

Through this whole conversation I stand there staring at the rude boy that I just ran into. His blonde hair stands perfectly on top of his head. His lanky, but built body stands at least 6'4. His pierced lip is set in a straight annoyed line. His black skinny jeans fit tightly against his toned legs. And his band shirt ties everything together.

He's one of those punk kids my parents always worn me to stay away from.

When his ocean blue eyes meet my hazel ones I look down and blush because I know I've been caught staring.

He smirks and tells me to watch where I'm going before walking by me with his friend.

I look down the hallway to see every students head turned towards me. I blush and look down and make my way to the girls bathroom.

I go the rest of the day without seeing the boy again. I remember his friend calling him Luke while he was trying to get his attention.

Luke.

Such a common name given to an uncommon boy.

I find myself thinking about him up until the final bell rings.

And then I remember that I have to ride the bus home.

As I'm standing in line waiting for the bus to come, I see blonde hair rounding the corner of the school.

When he turns my way I see that it's Luke and his friend from earlier. They walk up to a group of people, I assume are their other friends. I spot a kid with bright blue hair and wonder why he dyed it.

I watch as Luke walks up to a girl with bleach blonde hair that's longer than the skirt she's wearing. He grabs her ass and gives her a kiss that should never be displayed in public.

I blush again for the hundredth time today. I look back over to the group and meet bright blue eyes.

Luke is starring right at me.

He quickly looks away when he meets my eyes and I turn to see the bus pulling in.

Embarrassed to be riding the bus, I hurry and get on hoping that Luke or the others didn't notice, but when I sit down in my seat and look back I see Luke starring right at me.

-

I spend the next week of school trying to avoid Luke and his friends. I feel intimidated by them for some reason and I don't want to get involved with them.

Not that they would want anything to do with me.

I'm just the loser new girl.

The only time I see Luke and his friends are at the end of the day. I never see them in any classes or at lunch. It makes me wonder what they do all day. Do they skip? If so how do they not get caught?

My questions are answered on my third week at my new school.

I hear the beep of the intercom and then the principle's booming voice call out three names.

"Luke Hemmings.

Calum Hood.

and Michael Clifford.

Come to the office please."

Is Luke Hemmings the Luke?

It has to be right? I mean how many Lukes are in this school? And if he skips class then he must be in trouble.

My thought are interrupted when I see Luke and his friends slowly walking towards the office.

The whole lunch cafeteria stops eating and stares.

Lunch passes and Luke and his friends are still in the office. I start wondering how much trouble they will be in. No matter what I do I can't get my mind off of this Luke Hemmings.

I'm sitting in Biology and the teacher in is going on and on about the Kreb Cycle and all I can think about is Luke Hemmings.

Suddenly the classroom door opens and the principle sticks his head in and asks to talk to Mr. Wright.

After a few minutes the door reopens and Mr. Wright walks back into the classroom, but this time he isn't alone.

Luke Hemmings walks in behind him with a smirk spread across his face.

"Nice of you to finally join us Mr. Hemmings.

"Always a pleasure Jim." Luke remarks.

The class laughs and Mr. Wright tells Luke to have a seat.

Luke shrugs and walks to the back of the class and practically falls into a seat beside a girl with glasses and pigtails.

Mr. Wright starts talking again, but I don't hear him because a boy with a smirk and a lip ring is starring at me from across the room.
