I lay there in my bed, the blankets not covering me at all, and I was still in my clothes from today. I found myself not being able to get out of the bed, I just lay there for what felt like hours. I wasn't tired at all, but I felt drained. Mentally drained. It felt like there was this dark cloud that just came over my life ever since my mom died a couple months ago.

But my friends always found a way to make that dark cloud find the sunshine, and I loved that. It just feels like a wave of depression hits me randomly and I have to somehow crawl my way back out, over and over again.

But I never let what I'm feeling affect others, especially my friends.

I looked over to my nightstand, seeing the 11:00pm light glow throughout the dark room. I sighed, knowing I should probably get up and get ready for bed and go to sleep. But I--

Thump.

I quickly stood up in a flash, my eyes widened in fear when I continued to hear stomps and thumps all around me it sounded like. My chest was rising and falling rapidly, I couldn't bring myself to calm down when it sounded like the noises were getting closer somehow.

I glanced around the room frantically, noticing my window was wide open, the white silk curtains flowing aggressively against the wind. Just as I started to slowly walk over to quickly close the window, I notice Stiles fall down, hanging upside down in front of the window instantly.

I let out a sigh of relief and quickly hurry towards the window, both furious and relieved it was just Stiles and not some cougar or something.

"Stiles, what the hell!" I whisper yelled, hoping none of this would wake up my mom in the next bedroom.

"You weren't answering your phone." He reasoned trying to position himself to fall from the hanging tree gracefully. However once he finally figured it out, he fell head first. I rolled my eyes when he groaned in pain, I noticed Scott standing next to Stiles's rolling body.

"What are you guys doing here?" I sigh, glancing back at the door, feeling like someone would be behind me or something, but nothing was there.

"Listen, I saw my dad leave about 20 minutes ago. Dispatch called - they're bringing in every officer from the Beacon Department, and even state police."

I furrow my eyebrows in confusion, wondering why there would be so many officers just for Beacon Hills.

"Why?" I ask, as Stiles finally finds his way to his feet, unable to hide the glee in his face, however when he went to open his mouth, Scott quickly interrupted him by answering first.
