With every soldier of Wakanda and -almost- every Avenger standing in neat rows, the two children of Thanos stood no chance.

That is, if they wouldn't have the huge army of berserk alien dogs.

Isabelle stood next to Steve- not next to Natasha though, because that would mean that she'd have to stand next to Bucky-, and was staring at the large triangle space ships in front of them.

"Not those two again," Isabelle muttered, referring to the two children of Thanos who they already fought in Scotland. Steve glanced down at her with an amused look.

However, after a few moments later she was left alone with Bucky, because Steve, Nat, and T'Challa went to chitchat with the aliens.

Bucky gazed down at Isabelle, hoping to catch her eye, but she seemed to be avoiding any direct eye contact with him.
"Are you mad at me?" He asked quite sadly.

The silence gave him his cold answer.

"Where's your other friend?" Natasha asked the alien with red eyes who didn't seem all that happy.
"You will pay for his life with yours." She replied grimly. "Thanos will have that stone."

"That's not gonna happen," Steve stated.
"You are in Wakanda now. Thanos will have nothing but dust and blood." T'Challa informed her with a badass look on his face.

"They surrender?" Bucky joked as the three of them hurried back to their original places.
"Not exactly." Steve replied, not taking his eyes off the horizon.

Seeing the wild army of six-armed creatures Bucky asked Isabelle,
"want to wait this one out, Belle?"

The man truly cared about her and wanted to keep her safe, and although he intended to protect her it didn't seem that way to her.

"I'm fine, thanks." She answered coldly, giving him the meanest glare ever.

"Looks like we pissed her off," Natasha stated the obvious as the creatures were throwing themselves against the barrier, hurting themselves in the process.

Isabelle was about to glare at Natasha too, but realised she wasn't talking about her.

"They're killing themselves," Okoye gasped softly, furrowing at the sight.

A little unsure, Isabelle looked up to the Captain. His expression hadn't changed. He still looked super serious and confident.
So she decided to do the same. With her stomach tied into a knot, she changed her scared expression to a mean one, hoping that if she looked confident, she'd actually be it.
'Fake it till you make it', right?

It was just like sleeping. Dr. Raynor told her that. If she'd just act as if she was sleeping, she'd fall asleep after a while.
