"Look Eff, just take my card and buy something nice for you to wear! It's our anniversary!" Phil told her, despite Effy refusing to move out of bed

Effy's mood had changed drastically over the last few days, the article spread like wildfire and after a few days more news companies became involved and it quickly became a national sensation. Phil could barely take her anywhere without getting harassed and so he quickly became her guard dog, not letting anyone even get close to her.

"I'm not leaving this bed! I can order something online, i refuse to go out to a busy shopping centre when my face is all over the internet."

He sighed softly as he saw her point and he nodded. She was right, there was no way she could go out like this and he didn't want her to be exposed any further anyway.

"Okay I'll get you a few things, just don't look at the articles anymore, okay? You're already stressed enough. "

"Can you get some pickles and peanut butter?" Effy asked, although he'd heard about cravings and how strange they could get, he still looked confused when she asked.

He raised an eyebrow. "Pickles and peanut butter? Why those two specifically?"

"I like to mix them together, only thing i can hold down at the moment and it tastes amazing!"

Phil's eyes lit up when she said this. This could be a good sign that she was starting to feel better. "Alright, I'll be back soon." He grabbed his keys and his wallet and he rushed out of the door as he was determined to get her what she wanted as soon as possible.

It only took him a few minutes to get to the local convenience store and he grabbed both pickles and peanut butter, he was happy to see that this was the first thing that had actually made her happy in days.

He rushed back home as fast as he could and when he got inside he went straight up the stairs.

He burst into the room and he was pleased to see that she was still awake and he could tell she had been watching for him. He threw the peanut butter and pickle jars onto the bed as she smiled happily at him.

"Thanks babe, do you have training today?" Effy said as she scooped up the peanut butter onto the pickle

He chuckled to himself at the sight of her eating the strange concoction, it was certainly an interesting sight to witness; but the important thing was that the peanut butter and pickles were her first cravings. Maybe this was the sign he had been waiting for that her energy levels were on the up and she was starting to slowly improve. "I do have training today, but I'm sure they'll survive without me. I can cancel it, do you need me to stay with you?"

"No i can always come, i will be safe at the training ground. And im sure everyone is dying to see me, since the scandal came out." Effy gets along with all the boys on the team, and she also gets along with the manager

He grinned for a moment when she said this as the rest of the team had always had a soft spot for her but he also realised that the manager may not be happy to see her with the way the media had made her seem.

So as he chuckled he then shook his head firmly as he didn't actually want her coming to his training with all the media surrounding her right now.
"No you're staying here baby, I'll call Pep and have him cancel my training today so I can spend time with my favourite pregnant lady. "

"No please let me come! You have missed enough training, and i've missed all my bestfriends on the team! Please, Ellie will be there."

He sighed sharply when she mentioned Ellie because she did have a point there. The two were super close and Effy would probably feel better around Ellie more than anyone else. "Fine, but no running around. You have to sit by the side and I won't hesitate to drag you out of there if you get tired or if your sick. Understand? "
