Alice and Alex had walked to their classroom, "Are you sure you didn't say anything?" Alice asked.
"I think I would remember if I said something." Alex said. Alex and Alice took their seats, Alice started to write down what she heard. She then started to think of her music box. Could the voice be talking about the song from her music box? "That's impossible." Alice whispered.
"Alice?" Mr. Rob called out.
"Here." Alice replied.
"Yes, I know that you are here Alice, I was asking if you did your homework."
"Oh, sorry, yes I did." Alice sat quietly for the rest of the period. Once the bell rang Alice went to her locker and opened the music box. She flipped it over and found an inscription on the back, 'this is our song, remember it always.' There was no name, just the inscription. Alex walked up to Alice's locker, Alice put her box away and smiled at Alex.
"Hey, how about we skip the rest of the school day, it's your 15th birthday! You should have fun! Not sit in classes all day long." Alex smiled.
"I dont know, what if my mom finds out, she'd kill me!" Alice said.
"C'mon, it's your birthday!"
"Alright, but let's be a little less happy about skipping ok?" Alice grabbed her bag and placed the music box in it. Alex shut her locker and the two left school. Throughout the day the two had gone all over the town, they stopped by 'Grammy's Pizza' and went to the arcade. The two were having the best day, until it started to rain. When it was around 3 o'clock Alice and Alex decided to take a shortcut on a dirt road to get to Alex's house, but it then started to rain hard, the dirt road became a mud road. The two we're too far down the road now to turn around, suddenly a small tree had broken from a lightening strike and had caused the tree to fall in front of the motorcycle. In a flash of lightening Alice and Alex found themselves flying off the motorcycle. After that everything went black in Alice's mind. Alex was still awake, he had hurt his arm but that didn't stop him from helping Alice, he grabbed his phone and dialed 9-1-1. Soon enough there were red and blue flashing lights. In the hospital Alex sat at her bed side, he held the music box and played the song. The doctors said she was in a coma. As the music box played Alice began to dream in her coma, but they weren't dreams at all, they were memories.
