London
I don't wanna hurt my sisters more than I already have. I mean, I just got back and we already got into a squabble with our parents. It ain't good for us to fight. I hate it.
Mum and Dad set up a room for me after dinner, it wasn't much to start, but it was honest work.
During the night, I couldn't sleep, I kept getting messages from my foster family telling me to come back. I didn't respond, in fact, I blocked them any time they tried to reach me.
It was more of a stormy night, and Bluey had gone over to her besties house for a hangout, so she wasn't home for the night.
At around 3, there was a huge crack of thunder. And a few minutes later, I heard a knock at my door.
"L-London? You awake?" It was Bingo.
"Yes Bingo, cmon in." I told her, she looked like she'd been crying.
"Afraid of storms eh?" I asked her, "Y-Yea... I know it's a bit childish for a 14-" I hugged her, "It ain't childish, we all got our own fears." She hugged me back after she settled.
"Wanna take the bed for the night? I'll stay here with ya." I told my sister, she seemed to worry about me.
"I can't sleep, I bet I won't even begin to get tired. Trust me, take the bed." I grabbed her Blanket from her room along with her pillow.
Watching Bingo shudder at every strike of lightning, it filled me with an urge, an urge to tell her something. To calm her down enough to sleep.
I climbed into the bed with Bingo, and she got close to me, "Sorry if this is weird..." She told me, "Nah. It feels... Normal, in a way." We both let out a sigh as the next few cracks of thunder set in. Bingo seemingly fell asleep quicker than I, but in the morning we would be found by our parents.
Authors Note: this was a short one in my drafts, sorry I was just debating on posting it Lol.
