"Tell me what's hurting you, Peony." Justin breaks the awkward silence between us.
Andito kami ngayon sa loob ng bugatti car niya, and he's driving me home now. He immediately remove my heels as we finally got inside of his car before we left.
"You're asking what's hurting me?" My brows furrowed. Nagulat siya sa inasta ko na para bang may ginawa siyang kasalanan na siyang ikinainis ko.
What's hurting wasn't the sprain in my ankle but the way how Aaron acted when he saw me, leaving the castle.
"I'm asking you that 'cause I care about you." He massage his head as he rest his left arm on the window while the other one was holding it's stirring wheel.
I remained silent while he was trying to catch a glimpse of me. Trying to find some words to say. But it seems like, he really doesn't know how to comfort me that's why, he tried his best to keep his mouth shut.
Buti na lang, gising pa si Via, when she finally saw me, she quickly make an approach to help me so that Justin could finally leave. I tried my best to act as kind as well to thank him for the ride he had given me.
"Take care of yourself and magpa galing ka." He bowed his head as he reach for my hand to kiss its forehand before getting back inside of his car, leaving me with Via.
"How was the royal banquet? Did it went well?" Via asked as she found me on the floor sitting, alone with an ice pack on my sprained ankle. "What's with that flower?" She noticed the flower that Aaron had given me, I put it on the floor, in front of me. I was hugging my knees tight while staring at it, looking down and recalling the moment we dance.
"It did started as smooth as I was expecting it to be, but it did not end well," I sighed as I touch the petals of the flower.
I shouldn't be crying for such nonsense reason, but this feeling's just overwhelming. What the hell is wrong with me? Wala namang kami, bakit ko iiyakan yun? It was his right to act that way 'cause, just like as what he said, I'm just a companion.
"I guess, it's time for you to take a rest," She nods as she laid her head on the other side of the cabinet that's just right beside her. "That's what you need for this long, tiring night"
I did what she told me. I did rest not just for the night, I stayed in my room for the whole day, thing's didn't really failed to stress me out so I spent my time in drawing a lot of pictures in my sketchbook.
I wasn't expecting for someone. Or maybe, I was. I couldn't avoid myself from peaking out of my window whenever the gates of our house out front were making a noise, signaling us that someone just entered.
I spent my time in painting, drawing, watching, and listening to music that's soothing, healing.
I'm grateful for having Via with me. She would get inside of my room to bring me some sort of foods she found tasty in the street or bakery whenever she gets back home. Marami kasing malapit na bentahan ng mga pagkain sa street namin, that's why, her foods' really helping to lighten me up.
"Damn. I'm so bored," She groans as she stretch her arms to relax it.
"You know that's not possible. Alam mo namang ayaw ng dad natin si Tita Elaiza, right?"
She just pouted. Wala na siyang sinabi o kaya naman ay hindi na siya nag reklamo pa.
"Kapag talaga nagkasama na kami ni Chandria, hinding-hindi ko siya titigilan na buwisitin." She stated with a smirk on her face. Mukha talaga siyang may balak.
