In the gentle embrace of dawn, the sun tiptoed above the horizon, casting its golden tendrils across the slumbering island. Nurnu, the stalwart guide for Jack and Maria's forthcoming expedition, approached their shelter with a quiet reverence. His delicate knock sounded against the frame, a gentle request to awaken the inhabitants within. The quiet of the morning was met with an absence of response, prompting Nurnu to venture inside.

Within the dim confines of the shelter, he saw the two young lovers, entwined in the embrace of dreams. A fond smile graced Nurnu's weathered features as he marveled at their young love, a reflection of a time long ago when he, too, had shared such moments with a kindred spirit.

With a tender touch, he gently shook Jack's shoulder, pulling him from the depths of his slumber. "It's time to go, son," Nurnu whispered, his voice carrying the weight of experience and the echoes of his own youthful ardor. Jack, still half-asleep and lost in dreams, nodded in acknowledgment, gingerly moving to sit up, careful not to disturb the peaceful sleep of Maria beside him.

He waited a moment until the older man left the room. Then, gently brushing Maria's hair away from her face, he whispered, "Maria, wake up, love. It's time to go," placing a light hand on her shoulder.

She stirred awake, blinking away the remnants of sleep. Sunlight filtered through the wooden branches forming the roof. A soft smile graced Maria's lips as she embraced the new day. "Hello," she greeted Jack. "Hey!" He replied, his smile radiant. "We've got a journey ahead, love. Come on!" he added, chuckling lightly as he rose to exit the hut and prepare for the day.

It didn't take long for the crew to get ready for their long walk along the stretch of the beach to where the shipwreck awaited them.

Blessed by Mama Amara's kind wishes and armed with bags filled by the community's caring ladies, they embarked on their journey. Nurnu took the lead, guiding them toward the location of the ship. During the trek, he voiced worries about the ship's precarious state. Despite Jack and Maria acknowledging its likely uselessness, the group unanimously chose to explore it.

As the afternoon waned, they reached their destination. The sun beat down relentlessly, scorching their skin. Shielding her eyes with a hand just above her eyebrows, Maria surveyed the ship, positioned a bit farther into the shallow waters. The half-sunken ship emerged from the water like a relic of forgotten tales. Its weathered planks creaked under the weight of memories etched into its timeworn structure. Time had painted it with a coat of mystery, the wooden bones almost rotting, bearing witness to a bygone era. The once proud vessel now lay there as a silent testament to the passage of years and the secrets it held beneath the surface.

"I'm the lightest in the group. That ship can not be stable enough to hold a heavier weight. I'll swim to it and check it out." Mariana quickly suggested, already pulling her sleeves up and getting ready to run into the ocean.
