Chapter 4

I was driving at a very high speed and didn't bother about the signals. My mom is more important to me. And suddenly my car crashed with another car. I got down the car to see if the person in that car was fine or not. Luckily no one was hurt just our cars were damaged. As I looked up, there was the most beautiful girl I've ever seen in my life. She was 5'4 in height. She was having fire in her beautiful black eyes which were shining beautifully. She was looking very cute with anger on her tinny nose which turned red. Her cheeks looked so cute that I wanted to pull her cheeks. 'Stupid you have to go to your mom now!' my subconscious mind remained me. Shit! How can I forget that!

"I'm sor-" "Hey you! Can't you see your signal was red? If you don't know how to drive why do you drive and risk your life and others?!" She didn't let me complete my sentence and started saying things in her sweet voice. I would love to hear her voice more, but I had to go to my mom, she needs me now so I ignored her previous sentences, gave her my card and told her to contact me, so that the expense for her car's damage will be taken care of. Somewhere even I wanted her to contact me. I usually don't give my personal number to anyone but for some unknown reason I gave her my number.

And without waiting for her reply I left from there. After sometime I reached Verma Mansion, I ran inside and called mom but she didn't answer. I searched for her everywhere but didn't find her. Later, I came to the backyard and saw her lying on the ground. I ran to her and lifted her up and took her inside. I called Seeta aunty who works here. She was shocked to see mom like that. "Aunty, please call the doctor!" I said. And after 10 minutes our family doctor, Dr. Sharma came. He checked her and came outside and I asked him. "Doctor what happened to mom? Is she fine now?" "Don't worry Mr. Verma your mother is fine now. Her blood pressure became low. But nothing to worry about. I gave her the injection she will wake up after sometime. Please tell her to take proper rest. I've prescribed some medicine, give it to her on time." He said.

After that he left. I sat beside mom and took her hand in mine. I was so scared today. I thought something serious happened to her. I came out and went to the living room and called dad to come home. I didn't tell him about mom or he'll get tensed. I also informed my PA Rohan that I'll come late today and also to postpone my today's meetings to the next day. Dad came and I told him everything. "I should have stayed at home with her." He said. "It's ok dad, she is fine now" I said. "Sir, Mrs. Verma is awake now, you can meet her." Seeta aunty told us.

We went to her room and saw her sitting there. "Mom why can't you take your medicines on time. What if something happened to you!" I said as soon as we came in. She smiled and said, "Aree beta nothing happened to me. It's normal and I forgot to eat the medicine as I went in the backyard to do gardening." "But please take care, don't be careless with your health." "Ok Aditya. Now tell me, how are you?" "I'm fine." I replied. "Dad I've to go to the office now, you please take care and call me if you need anything." I turned to mom and said "Mom I have some meetings so won't be able to come for dinner today. But I'll come this weekend, promise." "Ok but make sure you have your dinner." "Yes mom." With that I left for the office.

As I reached there, everyone stopped their work and wished me as I passed them. I wished a few or gave a curt nod. I went into my cabin and called my PA. After two minutes there was a knock on the door to which I murmured a "Come in." "Good morning sir." He wished and I wished him back and asked about my schedule. "Sir, you have a meeting with the Ahuja's at 2:15 and you have to go to the site for inspection at 5 pm and some papers need your signatures." He said. And the rest of the day passed with meetings and some paper work. But during the day those black eyes were distracting me a lot. I looked at the clock, it was 9 pm, so I decided to call it a day. I went to the penthouse. Since I was not in the mood to eat, I went directly to my room and took a shower. As I was about to go to bed I received a message from our group "Three IDIOTS!" I know it sounds stupid. It was Aarav who made this group.

Three IDIOTS!!!

Aarav: Hello guys!

Sid: Hey! So guys how was your this month?

Aarav: This month was very boring and hectic as Bhai gave me lots of work! 😞

Aditya: Aeee! I gave you normal work. You are a COO so work hard.

Aarav: Kya yaar Bhai! How about we go somewhere? Let's do something fun!

Sid: How about we go to a club? My friend has opened a new club. We can have fun there.

Aarav: I'm in! It will be so fun!

Sid: Aditya you are also coming and we don't want to hear any excuse.

Aditya: Fine. I'll join you guys after the office.

Sid: Ok then, on Friday night we'll meet. I'll send you the address.

With that we ended our conversation. I kept my phone aside and went to sleep.
