Chapter 7

Everyone was worried about Tanvi. They searched each and every corner of the club but couldn't find her. Kritika started cursing those guys, who changed their drinks and Siddharth was trying to calm her. After sometime Aditya told them to go home as they were still in the influence of alcohol and promised them that he would find Tanvi. But the girls were not ready to leave. They all came out of the club and heard someone laughing and giggling loudly. The person was on the opposite side of the road but Aditiya guessed the voice and ran towards the person. And what he saw amused him.

As I heard the giggling voice I knew it was Tanvi's voice. I came to the opposite side of the road and saw Tanvi hugging a tree and speaking gibberish. Looking at her I was speechless. What amused me the most was she was laughing freely like a small child and talking to the tree. I sighed in relief and called the others. They all were relieved to see her save but someone was very mad. It was Kritika. She went towards Tanvi and pulled her away from the tree. "Tanu how could you do this to me?! You cheated on me? How can you hug that tree? I'm your best friend not this tree!!" "Aree Kit-kat, I'm not cheating on you. I just made a good friend, see." Tanvi said in a baby voice as if talking to a child. Meera also came running towards them and hugged both of them and started crying "Guys, you forgot me?!" "No Meeru. How can we forget you? Wait you two meet my- sorry our new friend Mr. Tree, isn't he handsome?" Said Tanvi.

All this while we four guys had amused, shocked and adored reactions. "Guys I'm taking my Meera home, please drop Tanvi and Kritika home. Bye." Saying that Abhimanyu went towards them and tried to take Meera about with him. With a lot of difficulty he took her towards his car and left home. "Siddharth you drop Kritika at her home safely as her house is on your way home. And I'll drop Tanvi." I told him and we took the girls to our cars. On the way Tanvi started singing songs, Aarav was enjoying and singing with her. I must say she has a beautiful voice which I can hear all day long. After reaching her place we saw there was no one at her home so I took the keys from her bag as we didn't have any other option.

I laid her on the couch and sat on the chair beside it. I told Aarav to go home as it was getting late and we couldn't leave her alone in this state so I stayed back. I don't know when I dozed off.

It was late at night when Tarun and Mr and Mrs. Rane came back home. And what they saw was very shocking for them. Aditya was sleeping on the chair in a very uncomfortable position. Hearing the sound of the door opening he woke up. It took him some time to guess that they were Tanvi's parents and her brother. Tarun recognised Aditya as he was standing in front of his biggest inspiration in the business field. "Hello Mr. Verma. Please may I know what you are doing here in our house?" Tarun asked. "Hello Mr. Rane. I am Aditya Verma and I'm Tanvi's..... Friend?" He said but it ended as a question. He explained to them what had happened and apologized for staying back. "I'm sorry to stay back but looking at her state I thought not to leave her alone so I stayed back." And for the first time Aditya Verma was nervous to talk to someone. He had never dated and it was his first time in such a situation.

Looking at his nervousness Mrs Rane decided to change the topic. "Thank you so much beta for taking care of her and bringing her home safely. But please take some rest in the guest room." "No ma'am it's fine. And now that you have come back home I shall take my leave." Aditya said. "I am very thankful to you for taking care of my daughter Mr. Verma. And please go safely. " Said Mr Rane. Saying bye to them Aditiya left for his penthouse.

I came to my penthouse which was close from her house. On the way I was thinking about her sweet voice, those beautiful long hair which were flowing due to the wind and that small pout on her face which was making her look like a small baby. My baby. Wait what? What am I thinking? Seriously Aditya! My baby? 'Ohh ho My baby? Not bad.' my subconscious mind teased me. 'Will you just shut up? It's just... It came in flow-flow I didn't mean it.' I changed my outfit and went to sleep.
