Episode 1 :- Beginning of the End

Year 2027 ,
September 25 ,
Late in the evening around 8 PM.

" Hey their love " Shubman said as he kept his kit bag aside , and went ahead to give a forehead kiss to his beloved wife , who was sitting at the corner of the bed .

He kneeled down to his knees and gently creased her not visible baby bump " Hey their little one dad's back from work and he missed you " he said and placed a few kisses there . Sara giggled at this sight.

Sara " Do you even think , that the baby is listening ? "

" Of course , what do you mean by that ?" he frowned a little.

" My love , I am just 3 weeks pregnant , the baby , won't have ears to listen to you " she said .

She was speaking very logically and also why wouldn't she ? She was a doctor , she knew what would happen at what time . But Shubman just listens to his heart .

" As you say love , but I know that the baby is listening to me " he said and continued " Also , we should start calling her with a name , cause it will be easy for us , and we have decided upon a lot of names right ? So which name are you picking ? "

" Have some patience shub ! " she said and cupped his face .

" Patience ! That's what I was having from the past 1 year . When we had lost all hope that we would have a child of our own , but now , when I know I am going to have a child , I don't even know how I am going to wait for the next 8 months until my baby is here " he said

Sara tried to hide her tears , as she remembered the time when doctors told her that she would never be able to give birth , and Shubman and her would never be able to become parents.

Flashback ( a year ago )

Sara and Shubman were sitting inside the cabinet of the doctor at an maternity hospital waiting for the doctor to give Sara's Uterus reports.

Sara was shivering , she knew she had PCOS and giving birth would be very tough for her but than what could she do ? It was nature given to her ! And in her case there were not many possibilities to fix it .

Shubman looked at her , and held her tightly " why are you shivering love ? Everything will be fine , trust me . " he kissed her forehead.

Just then the doctor came and sat at the chair in front of them ,

" Good evening , Mr. And Mss Gill , I hope you have braced yourself for whatever I am going to speak now " she said .

Sara and Shubman nodded not knowing what she would say .

The doctor continued

" So the thing is that , There is a 99% chances that you both may never have a child of your own" she said and stopped.

Sara became pale , she didn't have just any reaction , not tears ! she even stopped shivering. Shubman felt as Sara's hands turned cold .

Shubman said in a deep voice " You said that their is a 99% chance right ? So what about that 1 % ? "

He looked at Sara , she didn't say anything nor respond to him .

Shubman " Doctor , you know how much Sara wants to have a child of her own , She loves kids , It's one of her dreams , please don't crush it , please give us one solution . "

Doctor " There is no solution to this , it is what it is , you have to face it Mr. Gill "

He replied " if I can't even give her a child , so am I this useless ? "
