As Tae sent both of his husbands off to the office the next day, he felt a mix of relief and anticipation. He knew that if he hadn't nudged them out the door, they would have surely tried to delay his departure with some playful antics. After ensuring they were on their way, Tae got ready for his trip, knowing that he needed to make the most of his time away. Both twins had been extra clingy, reluctant to let him go for the two days, but Tae managed to gently pry himself away, even though Jungguk was particularly persistent until Tae shot him a glare.

With a pout, Jungguk finally relented and settled into the car. After exchanging a final hug and kiss with Jungkook, Tae watched them drive off before starting his own journey to his hyung's house, looking forward to spending quality time with his brother-in-law and brother

Tae drove down the familiar streets, enjoying the scenery and the feeling of freedom that came with the open road. The anticipation of seeing his brother and spending time with family filled him with joy.

As he pulled up to the front of his brother's house, he parked the car and took a moment to appreciate the familiar surroundings. With a smile on his face, he walked up to the door and rang the bell, eager to be greeted by his brother's welcoming embrace.

"Hey, Hyung!''...tae smiled as soon as jin opened the door for him

"Tae! My baby, I've missed you so much! Come in, come in!"...jin chirped and invited him inside

"Thanks, Hyung. I missed you both more''...tae said as he let himself fell on the couch

'' How was the drive?"....he asked

"It was wonderful, actually. I enjoyed the time alone, but I'm so glad to be here now''...tae smiled sighing deeply with a small contented smile

"I'm glad you made it safely. How are Jungkook and Jungguk?"...he asked again

"They're doing great. They were a bit sad to see me go, but they'll survive without me for a couple of days''...tae chuckled remembering both of their faces when tae initiated the idea of his coming here

"I'm sure they'll manage. It's good for you to have some time away too. So, what do you want to do while you're here?"....jin asked

"Hmm, I'm up for anything! Maybe we could cook together like old times?"...said tae excitedly

"Sounds like a plan! Let's catch up over some delicious food''...jin smiled

"Perfect! It's good to be here, Hyung''...tae stretched himself once he stood up from couch

''Let's make the most of your visit''...chirped jin and both made their way to the kitchen

"Ah, your kitchen still looks the same, Hyung''...tae couldn't help but say

"Yep, can't go wrong with a classic setup. So, what's on the menu tonight?"...jin chuckled

"How about we make your famous kimchi jjigae? It's been ages since I've had it''...he said with twinkling eyes

"Kimchi jjigae it is! Let's get started''...said jin

"I'll chop the vegetables if you prep the kimchi''...tae started taking out fresh vegetables from refrigerator. They start working together, chatting and laughing as they cook up a delicious meal.

"Wow, Hyung, this kimchi jjigae is amazing! You've still got that magic touch''...tae complimented his hyung'a amazing cooking skills

"Thanks, Tae. But I have to say, your chopping skills made all the difference''...jin laughed

"It's all about teamwork, right? And this tastes just like before''...tae said

"Yeah, these recipes are always the best. I'm glad we could recreate a bit of that magic tonight''...jin wiggled his eye brows

"Definitely. And spending time with you like this brings back so many memories''...said tae

"It does. I've missed having you around, Tae''...jin smiled

"Me too, Hyung. But let's make the most of these few days together I guess''...tae said but immediately his husbands came to his thoughts he smiled at his own. Later they continue to enjoy their meal, reminiscing about old times and creating new memories together.

As the sun dipped below the horizon, casting long shadows across the room, Jungkook and Jungguk trudged wearily through the door of their home. It had been a taxing day, filled with endless meetings and deadlines, but the thought of Tae's absence weighed heavily on their minds.

Dropping their bags with a thud, they exchanged glances, a silent acknowledgment of the void they felt in the absence of their beloved husband. Without Tae's warm embrace to greet them, the evening seemed unusually somber, devoid of the usual excitement and laughter that filled their home.

Sighing heavily, they resigned themselves to the fact that they would have to endure two days without Tae's comforting presence. Despite their exhaustion, they couldn't shake the longing for his comforting hug, a reminder of the love that bound them together. With heavy hearts, they retreated to their respective corners of the house, each lost in their thoughts, counting down the moments until they could once again be reunited with their dear Tae.

As Jungguk sighed, the weight of Tae's absence felt heavier than ever. After freshening up, he found solace in Tae's hoodie, clinging to it as if it were a lifeline connecting him to his beloved husband. Jungkook joined him, equally missing Tae's presence, and they both sought comfort in the tangible reminders of their shared love. Lying side by side, Jungkook embraced Tae's pillow, the fabric carrying the faint scent of their wifey, offering a semblance of his warmth and affection. With thoughts of Tae filling their minds and hearts, they drifted into a restless sleep, longing for the day when they would once again be enveloped in his loving embrace.
