"You are annoying, but I can't live another single day without seeing your stupid grin"

How would a normal person enter a home? If you are the homeowner, you would have the key and open it yourself. If you are a guest, the most common gesture is to knock or ring the doorbell. If you are close enough, A knock will be the most appropriate.

But the term 'knocking' isn't in a certain Brunette's dictionary.

I was in the shower and was in deep thought on whether to accept or decline the Navy's offer as a warlord, only to be startled by a loud crash. I almost thought I was getting robbed until I heard a familiar giggle.

Of course, it was Cyra.

I quickly finished up showing, changed into my robes, and walked downstairs. A light humming filled the kitchen as I entered it.

"Hey, Hawkye! I brought the groceries and meat!" Cyra said, with her usual grin. She was organizing the fridge with the groceries and stuff she just brought.

I don't get why or how she is always in a good mood. I never saw her without a smile or her stupid grin since the day I met her for the first time.

I first met her about 3 years before I moved here.

It was a busy and exhausting day. I never had people I could call friends and my family and I weren't that close. So, moving in was a huge task.

As I was busy unpacking my stuff, there was a knock on my door.

It was the first and last time she ever knocked on my door.

I opened it to meet with a shorter brunette, with a box in her hand. Her eyes were chocolate brown and her facial features were overall good. But the most remarkable feature was her stupid grin.

"Good Morning!" She spoke enthusiastically. Frankly speaking, it was like a beam of sunshine shining at me.

"I'm Cyra! I'm your townmate I guess. You moved here recently didn't you? What's your name?" She asked as she extended her right arm for me to shake, which caused the box in her hand to almost fall over, if I hadn't caught it in time.

"Phew. Nice reflex" She said giving my shoulder a small bump. I frowned at this. Is she challenging me for a fight?

A certain red haired captain crossed in my mind.

"So your name?" She asked again.

"Mihawk, Dracule Mihawk" I spoke in a stern glare. But she remained unfazed.

Is she dumb or just oblivious?

"These are for you~" She spoke, handing me the same box she brought.

"What's it?" I asked, taking the offered box.

"It's brownies. I made 'em." She said, the stupid grin returning back on her face.

"For me?" I asked, a little taken aback. The only person who baked something special for me without any asking was my mother. Well, now she broke that.

"I hope you'll like it!" she said, almost squealing, her hands behind her back.

Our one way conversation was broken by a couple of townsfolk, who called her for some kind of work.

"I'll come in the evening, Hawkye!" she spoke as she dashed off.

Evening?

Don't tell me she's coming here again.
