The party

Ishika's pov

I was with kabir at the party since I didn't know anyone there except him and anu. The party was going on in full swing. Anu comes at me and hands over shots which me and her drink within seconds.

She drags me to the dance floor. We danced our heart out on many Bollywood bangers like Uff Teri Ada,Kajra re,and many more. After sometime Anu's friends pulled her to dance with them,she asked me also to come but I can't dance with an unknown group of people. I still wanted to dance so I started looking for kabir since he was the only other person I knew and called him to the dance floor. He protested multiple times but I went to him and pulled him to the dance floor.

The second we were on the dance floor the dj changed the song to a romantic one which was 'ishq wala love'. I love that song but unfortunately I am single so I can't dance to that song. I made a disappointed face and told Kabir 'let's go and sit' as I turned to leave the dance floor he held my wrist and pulled me towards him and said 'you were the one who called me in the dance floor and now you are only leaving that's not fair. Let's dance? Please?

I hesitated a bit as I just met him today but he felt safe. He asked me so sweetly that I couldn't say no. We held hands and one hand was on his shoulder and his one hand was on my waist. We danced through the lyrics of the song while having an intense eye contact. He twirled me around and pulled me closer to him. That's when the dj changed the music again.

After the dance with Kabir,Anu came towards me and asked why I said yes to dance since she knows I am a little shy when it comes to doing a romantic dance with guys. I said 'I don't know he just asked so sweetly so I did dance with him' I could see the teasing smile and happiness so I bursted her bubble and said 'you know nothing can happen or will happen between me and him'
She made a disappointed face and said 'I know'

After that I danced some more with Kabir and Anu and I should say Kabir is an excellent dancer. After sometime I realised it was 2 am in the night and decided to go back to my apartment and sleep.

Kabir offered to walk with me. I was going to take the lift again but realised it could be risky as I didn't want to get at stuck again. Kabir teased me while by saying ' why are you scared to use the elevator, you live in this apartment how long will you not use it' I responded to him by saying 'I don't usually use the lift as I live on the 3rd floor so going up and down the stairs is easy'
He seemed satisfied with the answer

Before starting to get down. I sat on the staircase to remove my heels as my feet were hurting from all the dancing and it would be easier to get down the stairs without them. The belt of the heel was stuck and wasn't coming out I struggled to remove it. Kabir noticed this and bent down to help me with it. I moved my feet away as he shouldn't be touching my legs being a guy yes I am old fashioned that way. But he held my leg and said 'let me do it,I know your feet would be hurting' he removed the belts of my heel with ease.

We walked together till my apartment in silence.
We bid each other farewell and I told him to text me when he reaches home and drive safe and he said Yeahh Okayy don't worry I live 15 mins away and at this time I will reach in 5-7 mins. I said okay bye and went inside to change and sleep

Kabir's pov
I was so so so happy to know Anu and Ishika are good friends. She was looking so pretty in that white dress that I just wanted to keep looking at her. She and Anu were on the dance floor Dancing when few other friends of Anu pulled Anu she did not go

She started to look for me and called me to the dance floor I said no as I was hesitant to dance in front of her though my friends always told me that I am a good dancer. She came towards me and pulled to the dance floor. As we reached the dance floor the music changed to a romantic one and she was going to go away from the dance floor I don't know what got into me and I pulled her and asked her to dance with me

She was hesitant at first as I understand Any girl would be but she agreed and we danced. We had intense eye contact. I will never forget this moment. I had butterflies while dancing with her.

As we were leaving the party I saw she didn't want to use the left and teased her a bit and then she was struggling to remove her heels so I helped her. We walked till her apartment and she told me to text her once I reach home. I was so glad she told me to as I just wanted an excuse to talk to her

I reached home in 7 mins as I told her I would. I went to my room quietly as I didn't want anyone to wake up and send her a text saying I reached home

I was going to sleep when I heard a notification sound and that it was from Anu. She sent me a video of me and Ishika dancing. I was on cloud 9 seeing the video. I liked Anu's message saw the video. We were looking amazing together as we were twining. My heart just went hayeee by looking at her and me.

The next day
Ishika's pov
I woke up late as it was a Sunday and neither did Aarohi nor me had work. I went outside my room and saw aaru smiling at me mischievously. She said good morninggg! How was the party? I said good morning and the party was great. She then took out her phone and started playing ishq wala love then she showed me the video of me and Kabir dancing. She teased me and said what is going on between you to and how did your introvert ass agree to dance I blushed a little acc to her and said nothing like that is going on I just met him today and I was stuck with him in the elevator and he turned out be the guy who I had prank called. She said oooohhhh in a teasing voice and sent me the video. I did realise we were looking nice but nothing can happen so I spent my Sunday with Aarohi since she had a day off after a long time
